Baby's Passport to Pink timeline
I got out of PGN on 8/1/06. I have received no updates from my agency. I was able to find out through another source that the password was going to be applied for today or tomorrow. Does anyone know what this means? Am I near PINK, or will it still be a few weeks before Pink can be issued?

The main thing you need to know is if you have baby's birth certificate yet. If they do, and the passport is in the works, it could be within a week that you get pink. Once they submit those things to the Embassy you should receive your pink slip and appt. shortly after. Sounds like you're close! Good luck.

You can't get a passport until the new BC is done. So if your source is correct, then your BC is done. Passporst only take one day. Then they apply for pink. It takes two business days to get pink, and the appointment is usually one week out.

Yeah! It should be very soon. One thing to keep in mind is they don't issue pink on Friday. So if they submit your paperwork to the embassy Wednesday or Thursday, it will most likely be later next week. Won't be long now!!! Congrats!
