DNA Results Received!!
I got my DNA results in the mail today. It was 2 weeks to the date of the sample being taken. It really is breaking my heart to look at the picture of the birthmother holding our little girl. She looks so sad.
Do you have to send a copy of the results to Guate? I emailed my SW but of course it is Friday afternoon. Susan

Hi, Susan...
It is such a feeling of mixed emotions, isn't it? In our case, our agency had it all already and we didn't have to do anything with the results, but this may vary - I am not sure. Congrats on your DNA - Julie

I know. I wasn't prepared for that either. You do have to have them great sealed, authenticated, etc...and sent to Guatemala. Our agency did ours though...I didn't do a thing with it.

I'm not done with DNA yet, but my agency said that the results should be authenticated and sent to Guatemala...not sure what other agencies do...

Thanks everyone. My agency handles all the authentification so I am hoping I don't need to do anything except get them the results.
