Interesting PGN information
I have heard directly from a VERY reliable source that PGN's computers are currently down. I believe they expect them to be back up and running by Friday.
Please believe me when I say that this is not a rumor that I am making up. I, too, take in all valuable information that is put forth about PGN as we have been waiting for 18 weeks for our baby to come home already. Just thought everyone might find this interesting info.

Thanks for this info. Since there have been no out's this week, i am sure the computers have something to do with it!!

I'm just suprised to find out that PGN has computers
Computers?? You mean they actually have computers there? I wonder what they use them for, because they sure don't seem to be using them to increase productivity in any way.

You mean this whole week will be a bust with no movement?
 I think I could send my hubby down and have it fixed before then And then of course there will be a bottleneck with the person who has to enter all the cases into the computer before they are released to the attorneys Gail

Thanks for the information. Maybe some mad adoptive parents snuck in and started throwing stuff around? Computers got caught in the crossfire?

What exactly do they need the computers for? Aren't they suppose to look through the many papers and files that they requested...and if everything is there, stamped correctly etc. don't they send it to the director's desk for either an approval or ko? I guess I never thought of PGN as computerized?!

I was thinking...
do you really need a computer to sign a @#$**&% piece of paper. I mean, honestly, Mr. Barrios just needs a pen and some work ethic!! As a matter of fact, since the computers are down and he has a stack of ALREADY REVIEWED files, he could seriously catch up. Just a thought

Actually, Brie, the review process would probably be a lot S-L-O-W-E-R if they were NOT computerized. Could you imagine??
In fact, I know that they still have the adoption file of our first son from 2004 in their computer files.

Well doesn't that just STINK!!!! I really hope that it doesn't take until Friday to fix the computers!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really hope that this does not cease all activity - even though it surely seems to have. I have "searched" the other boards and not one OUT have I found for this week.  Lalia - thanks for the information. Please post if you find out there computers are back up and functioning. Joy Will be praying for a speedy computer repair!!!
