Poll: Choosing the name for your child
I was wondering how you came up with your childrens names. Did you completely keep your childs birth name, did you incorporate part of thier name, or did you change it completely?
I set it up for multiple children. If you have multiple children, check the correct boxes on the same vote. Also, tell us thier names if you would like (last names excluded of course).

2nd daughter - kept first name as middle name

For all three children, we kept their given name from thier birthmom as thier middle name and gave them a first name that we chose for them.

Michelle - is there something wrong with the poll? Shouldn't each section (first child, second child, thrid child) equal 100%. The second and third equal 100% combined.

LOL - it appears we are dealing with 200% here folks!
Not sure what the deal is, but if we take half of what is shows for each one - it is correct. Maybe those of us who adopted from Guatemala deserve 200% instead of the normal 100%. LOL  I will ask tech support - thanks for letting me know!

Now thats just plain odd.
Let's finish it out and see how it ends...maybe it fixes itself? I'd hate to call it a bug just yet, given that we've not seen it end. Michele, would it be ok if I edited your poll to end tomorrow, just so we can see what the end result is?

The name given to him by his birthmom was Diego Andres. We changed it to Alexander Diego.

His birthmom didnt name him...He was named after the dr for his first name and the attorney for his middle name., so we didnt feel bad about changing. Although when we went to meet the dr he said why are you changing his first name..it is a good name.. we had a good laugh together.. We did not keep his mothers name's in there..
