Hi Everyone,

My INS form expires 8/21/06. My agency is currently in Guatemala trying to expedite my BC/PINK slip. They anticipate PINK on Aug.14th and possibly an appointment on Aug.21st.
If possible, we need to move embassy appointment to an earlier date. Has anyone had this situation? My agency doesn't think that the US embassy will give us the time of day until after PINK is issued so I need to wait until Monday to hear from them down there.

If it was me, I would just move it up and get it done. Otherwise you will worry worry worry.

I don't know the answer, but I hope something can be worked out! I have heard of the Embassy changing the appt. to a later time, so perhaps under the circumstances they will consider earlier?

Apparently, under stress, I can NO LONGER SPELL URGENT! Geez! Thanks for your responses! My hope is that the embassy will be kind and reasonable and move up the appointment! I HOPE! Talk about cutting it close.

I did get one bit of positive; my agency coordinator saw my little guy and said that his face lit up when he saw my picture. THAT brought me to tears!
