adoption expenses '03 to now?

Does anyone know where I can get information as to the percentage increase in adoption expenses for both domestic and international adoptions since '03?

I am considering asking my company to increase the 3K in reimbursements they began providing to adopting couples in 2003.

Also, do companies get tax breaks for these kind of reimbursements, and does anyone know how much that might be?

Thanks!
Tina

I brought home a daughter in 2003 and her expenses totaled $25k, after factoring in airfare, travel and hotel. I'm adopting now and have been in PGN for 6 weeks. My total this time will be about $5k more.

I can't help you w/ the increase, but I did want to tell you that in 2003, my company gave $4,000. It was a hospital and employeed about 4,000+. Just thought you might be interested in knowing.

Since Guatemalan adoptions are private, there's really no way of getting these statistics. But, I hope you find some helpful information.
