Fall Beginners: 7/23

* This thread began when a few of us started the process this past fall. But anybody can join! Share your joys and frustrations, we are here to vent and/or celebrate with you! *

Happy Sunday Everybody!
I hope that you are all doing wonderfully!

We got back from our visit late Tuesday/early Wednesday. It was another amazing visit. The bebes are getting bigger and are so sweet.

(I've been to worried to use the bebes names because I didn't want to jinx the process. But, I've decided to set my faith in a higher power So, now you will see their names)

Asher's breathing problems has resolved and he is no longer colicky.. he is about as giggly and smiley as Malia. One would start laughing and then the other would start laughing, which would make the first one laugh harder - it was too sweet.
They also were old enough to notice each other (they are not in the same foster homes). They would smile at each other and try to reach for each other, but it then turned into eye-poking sessions.
Malia has learned how to grab her toes and she was just beginning to learn how to roll over. Asher has learned how to vigorously shake toys and bang them against other toys to make a joyful noise.

I'm so happy to have shared this small moments with them. They are memories that my husband and I will never forget.

We also visited Antigua on this trip. If anybody is considering whether or not to do it, please do! You won't regret it!.. We went on a private tour and our tour guide was not a "body guard" in any way.. we felt perfectly safe.. I will attach pictures of Antigua - so gorgeous!

Another week is beginning, and I wish only the best news to all my forum friends

Good Luck Everybody!

Myrna

Here are pictures of Antigua:

I'm not a fall beginner, but just wanted to say your Asher is adorable!! Now where is Malia?? Glad to hear you had a great visit trip. We also did the private guide in Antigua and would highly recommend it.

Hope you get the call soon....

Myrna- beautiful babies, beautiful names!

I finally had DNA done this past week (not quite sure when), and I've been given the go-ahead to plan another visit. I'll be staying at the Crowne Plaza 8/11-8/14!!!

I hope this week brings more good things for all- I keep all of you and your beautiful babies in my thoughts and prayers.

Beautiful babies. It must have been a wonderful visit.

I'm still stuck in PGN for the eighth week. No news, No KO's, nothing.

Today my mom, who has been extremely supportive, made the comment that maybe I haven't heard anything because something is wrong with my case and I won't be able to bring this child home. This is the absolute last thing I needed to hear because it's a silent fear in the back of my head that I don't want to think about. I didn't say anything because she has been wonderful (she's offered to babysit full time for at least four months after I go back to work, and part time for several more months, is traveling with me on my pickup trip and has done so much to help me set up the nursery and paid for a lot) but I was still upset. More and more people are asking why I haven't heard a thing for two months and is something wrong.

I'm really starting to get anxious and probably won't relax until my son is home in his crib.

Hi all.

Myrna - sorry for repeating myself, but your babies are so adorable, I wish I could hug and kiss them! I pray you bring them home soon!

To all - I hope you hear good news this week.

I'm still waiting for PA and to hear whether or not we're out of FC - interview was done over two months ago, and everytime I ask, I'm not given an answer.

Good news is I have 3 1/2 weeks before I see my little guy again! I'm focusing on the positive of seeing his beautiful face, rather than how hard it'll be to say bye. If anyone's at the Marriott between 8/17 and 8/22, please look for me!

-Priscilla

We are still stuck in PGN. We have been in almost 12 weeks now. We goot our first KO on July 7 and went back in on July 11. We were kicked out for an updated medical for the baby. Maybe if they wouldn't take so long in PGN her medical would be recent. I don't know how much mroe of this I can take. I also found out that I for sure have to have my back surgery redone soon. I hoep everyone gets good news soon.

saranbr: You are most welcome here! And thanks for the compliments!

djchris: Great news! Congrats on getting past the DNA hurdle and congrats on planning your next visit!

little_rich1991: Sending you another Hug and Congrats!! Sorry, I don't have an answer for you, but it seems to go really quick from BC to pink.. maybe a few days to a week??? I hope its quick!

DD Amasa: Sending you a hug too.. ya, it's tough getting those comments. I actually got a similar comment from my mom today too.. Except, she added that I should contact the president and demand that they release the babies... ya, like I can call my pal, the First Lady, Wendy. I'm sure she would be really helpful, since she's campainging to cease adoptions. Sending you hugs!

Priscilla: I missed what was going on with PA. I remember you had posted that they were requesting more info.. Did that get resolved?? I sure hope so!.. And may your PGN stay be short and sweet!.. It's happening to a few people, maybe you too!

Kris: Just like I told Priscilla, there are a few getting out really quickly.. maybe you too!!!

golden x: Hoping you get some great news this week!

Vicki: It's great to hear from you! I've thought about you since you began your journey.. Sorry to hear that you're stuck in PGN too.. and sorry to hear about your back..I work in orthopedics so I know how tough those back surgeries are! ..

Amy: It's a new week and may it be filled with joyful news for you!!!

Hugs to everybody!

Received PA today!!!!

My attorneys resubmitted the docs last Thursday. Now I'm trying to find out if we ever exited FC and can enter PGN.

Chel and Tom - I wish there was something I could do for you!

Thanks so much for all the support. I hope we all hear more good news this week.
