Is anyone else addicted to Adoption Stories on Discovery Health channel?
I started to TIVO this show so that I could see the episodes that were specific to Guatemala, but now that I've started watching it, I CAN'T STOP- LOL!
I totally cried today when a little Korean baby got off the plane to meet his parents for the first time. It's crazy! Just wondering if I'm the only one

Love the show...I tivo it also...as a matter of fact one of our listmembers here has been on Adoption Stories....but I'll let her tell you about it!

Referral Dec. 13, 2005 Jan. 3, 2006 - fingerprinted Feb. 27 - international homestudy done Mar. 9 - Dossier sent Apr. 7 - I-171H in June 5 - DNA approval June 19th - entered Family Court Aug. 1st - DNA Taken!!!  Aug. 8th- Out of Family Court!! Aug. 9th - DNA results at US Embassy!! Aug. 19th- Recvd DNA results in mail!! Sept. 6-Received preapproval  Sept. 11 - IN PGN  Nov. 10- Previo Nov. 15th - Our precious daughter turned one  Nov. 17th- Back In PGN Jan. 12th, 2007 - WE ARE OUT!!!  Jan. 27th - PINK!!!! Feb. 5th - Embassy appointment. Feb. 7th - HOME!!!!!

I am addicted too
 I cried too when the sweet little Koren boy met his parents. Especially when he hugged his mommy then reached for his daddy. How sweet were the items his birthmother left him? Ultrasound pictures, his hospital bracelet, outfits, letters, etc.

My daughter and I watch it all the time, ever since I told her she had an older sister who was placed, she's been very intrigued with the whole aspect of adoption. However I can't watch it too often, I get way too teary eyed.

Your right Lisa ,and we are the family.
We were featured when we adopted Hayle, March 2003. I wish I knew how to post picture's I would post a picture of what Hayle looks like now. It was an incredible experience . They took 12 hours of video and cut it down to 22 min.

I was for the last year but since I started our second adoption I never watch them. I also have them on Tivo. I sat and watched them for about a year just waiting to start our second adoption now we are on the roller coaster ride once again.

PEZ - Are you the family with the daughter who is the soccer player and the husband who was sick a while back? And at the end they show you all at the older daughters game. If that is you no way. That is my favorite episode of all times. I showed it to my family and we were all crying. My husband and I watched that episode together a couple of months ago and he said he can't watch any more of those. We were both crying like babies. What an amazing story. If that is you that sure was a touching episode and you have such beautiful daughters. Please learn to post pictures. I would love to see them now.

I'm in OH. I get up at six on Sat. mornings just to watch it.
It is on (EST) right now. Pamela is adopting from Guatemala, her second son. I love this episode!

I'm addicted too.
It might sound crazy, but that's how we really began to explore International adoption. The first episode I ever watched was an adoption from Guatemala and that was it, we were adopting from Guatemala. I know I have seen every episode! I wish they would do updates on the families and make new shows.
On our satellite they are on every Saturday morning(2 episodes)starting at 6:00 am and every weekday morning at 10:00am. I think they may have episodes on Sunday morning too. It's a great program!

Oh My Goodness~!
I Tivo it every morning. I have satilite, and it is on the Health Discovery Channel every morning at 6am. I used to get up for work at 6, but now that I know what time it is, I get up at 5:30 and hurry with the coffee thing, and shower and am in the room by 6 and I watch it, then when I get home from work, I re watch, just incase I missed something! I LOVE THAT SHOW!!! I tried to find out if they still produce it, but couldn't find anything. I have been watching for over a year, and now they pretty much are re-runs... But, I still cry on every one of them. And for Haley!!! I LOVE IT, I would love to see pictures, it has been what... 2 years now? In fact~ I wish I know who to post pictures! I am addicted, too. I either watched or taped it every day while we were waiting for Gabriella, and I cried every time. I didn't watch it much after she came home, but since I am not working during the summer, I've started watching again. I think I've seen every episode at least once, but I still can't stop watching.
