We went ahead and hired Adoption Supervisors

I had posted last night asking for advice as to whether we should hire them or not and we did hire them this afternoon. I know being in PGN 9 weeks is not long, I just can't take it anymore and I need to know where our case is at since we get no updates from our agency. I hope they can do something for us. I'll let you guys know what I find out, they will inquire to PGN today and should have an answer by late Monday.

I wish you well with this. What does the rest of your time line look like?

Is your agency mad you hired AS?

Good for you! I asked my agency today about finding out where my case was in PGN and was told that I should not trust everything I read or am told through the forums and that I should choose whether to trust my agency's committment to my case or trust everyone else. I only asked the question and said I had seen others who were able to obtain this information. No mention of not trusting them.

Is AS able to find out about your case without your attorney or agency's knowledge? Did you have to give them your case number? I have been in PGN for 13 weeks and I am seriously considering hiring AS.

I wish you the very best and completely understand.

And also be careful about telling people you hired them, because your agency could be looking on this forum, and make sure that your contract doesn't say anything about hiring any type of help other then them. Just use caution when talking about those people. I heard when some people (back when I adopted) used that name to threaten there agency & the agency threaten to take back the child.
