OT: Anyone have a flat screen TV?

We bought a Phillips Flat Screen TV a few months back. My question is...since the screen is different...not like a regular TV...I know I probably should NOT clean it with regualr cleaning stuff. How do I get my three year olds fingerprints OFF the flatscreen. My husband is downstairs having a COW.

LOL, Gotta love those "cows"

Uh, oh, don't mess with daddy's tv! LOL!

We got some special stuff when we bought our tv, they cautioned us pretty strongly against using anything BUT that.

Is it a plasma?

Mindy -- I just asked DH. He's the teckie. He said not to clean the screen when the liquid crystals are activated. Or in other words when the TV is on. He also said there is a special cloth that you can buy -- like the one people use to clean their eye glasses -- that might help remove the finger prints.

Good luck!

THank you so much for the tip. I sure don't want to screw up this TV. Dh would kill ME and I mean that. HAH. I will have to go look for something tomorrow since they are NOT coming off the screen.

Hugs

Being a compulsive cleaner, I would recommend Endust for Electronics Anit-Static Wipes. According to the packaging, they safely clean computers, televisons, stereo equipment, and much, much, more.
