international adoption pediatrician
Does anyone know of a international adoption pediatrician located near Miami, fl. I checked out the internet and all I could find was that children's hospital in phila. pa. has their own program that deals with health issues particular to children who are internationally adopted. But I could find no other info? thanks

I worked with the Philadelphia based group and I have to tell you - they are absolutely wonderful to work with! I used Alyssa Harrison for my son's adoption. She will be leaving the practice in the next month or so but every doctor there is spectacular and they work over the internet so location shouldn't be an issue.

I am in the Tampa/St. Pete area in Florida and use the International Adoption Clinic at All Children's Hospital in St. Pete. It is Dr. Juan Dumois. The number is 727-767-4160. I wonder if he could refer you to someone at Miami Children's?

Before pick-up, most places will offer a long distance evaluation of medical info, plus analysis of photos or videos you may have. Milwaukee Children's hospital has an International Adoption Clinic , they charge a flat ( and reasonable) fee for analiyss. You send them docs, sign a release and they get back to you in a few days.
