Hi, guys!
Can I get your feedback on Telma's House?? I am deciding if I am going to try to go down again and they have an opening for me. Does anyone have any words of wisdom?

I loved, loved, loved Telma's!!! I went to Guatemala alone in February and stayed there. It is not fancy at all, but is comfortable and homey and a true taste of Guatemala. Jose and Saskia are so kind and made a point of making me feel at home since I was alone. If we ever get this dang DNA done, we'll definitely stay at Telma's. Please feel free to ask any questions ok?

We've stayed at Telma's 6X... 4x in 2003 and 2x last year. I agree with everything Dawn said about the people and place. I highly recommend it. I especially like the apartment and Room #4. If you have specific questions, please PM me.

We stayed there in February too. It is very modest, but we loved it. You can pay extra per day and have 3 hot meals included in your stay. We did, and the food is wonderful. We liked room #4 too.

My husband and I stayed a week in March and plan on staying again for pick up. Everyone there is fantastic, It's in a lovely little gated community and you can take walks around the neighborhood. Esperanza's cooking is fantastic and I recommend doing that as there isn't a full kitchen to cook your own food (though I'm sure they'd let you use theirs if you were so inclined). It's nothing fancy, but very warm and homey with fabulous host and hostesses. As mentioned room 4 is the best, 1 is great also just smaller, 2 & 3 have a shared bath but they don't seem to book people in them unless it's a mission group or kids.
