Smile What are you doing this weekend?

With both Guatemalan and US holidays coming up, I thought it might be fun to hear what people are doing this weekend.

I know that I need something else to think about!

We are going to a Cincinnati Reds/Cleveland Indians baseball game Saturday night. We are also going to be painting the baby's room this weekend. I know the colors I want to use, and I have the border already. I'm excited to get started on it.

I think we are also going to go crib shopping this weekend. We thought we already had a crib (friend gave us her old one) but it won't go together safely, so we're adding another purchase to our list. I think I may also start on our registry this weekend.

Having a 4 day weekend will be nice, and the weather in Kentucky is supposed to be beautiful!

Happy Fourth!

Kim

Friday night we're going to see "Superman Returns" at the IMAX Theater at the Air and Space Museum. It's a Bird...It's a Plane...No, It's Superman!!

Saturday it's dinner with friends, and on Sunday we're going to a matinee performance of "Spamalot" at the National Theater in D.C.

Gotta have those distractions. Have a great 4th of July weekend

We planned on going out to our camp for the weekend to celebrate July 4th. But mother nature has made that impossible. The campsite is on the river (well now part of the river) and we heard everthing is destroyed. The worst part is...next month we will be making the last payment.

So I really could go for good news of being OUT right about now.

Our Big 4th of July party is this weekend. We are praying Mother Nature is nice enough to hold out until Sunday for us.

Still waiting on the DNA, so will stalk the mail man until I get it.
Happy 4th to you all

We're going to celebrate 8 years of marriage on the 4th by going to see fireworks at the lake, and then starting to collect paperwork to submit I600A for kid#2. Yay!

Wow! So sorry to hear this news! The flooding has been terrible!!! We were supposed to go camping in the western part of the state. DH has his truck in for service and it seems that he must have driven over something in high water on his way to the dealership...that's what the guy at the dealership thinks anyway...and put a hole in something(I know next to nothing about vehicles!). The truck is not driveable. DH pulls our 5th wheel with the truck that is now not driveable and we can't get parts because you simply can't get out of the area on any of the roads due to flooding.

Our truck problems are nothing compared to losing a camp though! You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

We are leaving Sunday to spend the week in Guatemala with our son. We will have our Embassy appt on Wednesday and bring him home to the US on Friday.

We will be spending the 4th at Telma's Not sure if there will be any celebration at all but I know that I will be happy enough with my little guy in my arms I don't think it will matter.

I agree, great post.

Lets see... the beach this afternoon after yardwork during nap time, dossier paperwork and errands on Friday, around the house Saturday (yard work ), church then work on Sunday night and work all day and night on the 4th. Think my folks might be having a BBQ on the 3rd so we might make that. So...shaping up to be a really exciting weekend!
