Babies from Escuintla, post here!
Our referal is frm Escuintla and I would love to see pictures of kids from there! It is so hard to tell what they might look like when they're older from a baby picture! So..... let's see your Escuintla princes and princesses!

Baby Girl is from Escuintla.. However, I wouldn't think babies would look a certain way just because they come from a certain area
 Wouldn't it be like expecting everybody from Kentucky or Maine, or Minnesota, etc to look the same?

Olivia was from Escuintla, Also curious about how they would look. DO looks vary from region to region? And I am never able to resize a photo to attach it...

I would think that the only time they way they look may vary is if the birth families are from more indigineous areas of Guatemala. Therefore, they would look more Mayan.
Escuintla is a "department" or what we would know as a "state", so it's a bit of a larger area.. Maybe smaller, more indigineous areas of Escuintla would look more "different" since they would be more Mayan.

Matthew is from Escuintla. We met a baby on our visit trip also from Escuintla and they looked very similar. Here are some recent pictures of him.

es as amatter of fact children do have certain looks from certain regions. While fostering for nearly six months you have no idea how many both mayan people and local Antiguans asked me if our son was from Esquintla! They were right he is! They all say it is something about their skin and I dont think they meant the color?

Here are some photos of our Londy. But I have to agree with Chica Latina, I don't think being from Esquintla necessarily means you have a certain "look".
I do know how it feels to want to see pictures of others from the same area of Guatemala though and I couldn't resist showing off my little princessa! Kim
