Throughout this process I have been sometimes amazed by the strength that can come from within. When you feel like you cannot walk another step, somehow, you find the strength and you do. I have told myself a million times...Megan, you are strong enough to do this.
This week, I told myself, you can do this. You will find the strength to leave him once again. But I found that when I looked for it, sadly it was gone. Sadly, strength is finite. It CAN be used up. So for everyone who helped carry me, Thank you. To friends who held me when I cried for my Braeden, thank you. For my Mommy, who talked me through the plane ride home, thank you. For my husband, who sat up with me last night when my dreams turned to nightmares, thank you. To my forum friends, who told me that I do have strength left, thank you. I will look for it again tomorrow. Tonight, for my Braeden who cried when his Mommy left, Thank you. I love you and I miss you.

Megan, I have just lifted you up to our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, to give you strength to make it to the end. I know that my precious daughter and son-in-law visited Elia twice and had to leave her both times. The heartbreak was truly unimagineable. She finally did come home though a couple of years ago, and they adopted little Ava Grace who thankfully arrived home when she was just 4 months ago; she has been home for over a year now. I felt all the pain my daughter felt, but I can tell you that when you get that angel in your arms, and you know it is forever, all the pain will truly vanish, and your life will never be the same again. These children are the most amazing blessings! May God bless you and keep you until you hold your angel in your arms forever. Vicki

We hold you in our prayers. We too know how hard it is to say good-bye. May the call come soon for you to go down and bring your baby home soon!

Megan, I am so sorry you had to leave him again. Unfortunately, many of us here know that pain all too well. The weeks will go by and pain will subside a little, but you have the memories of that last couple of weeks w/ him to get you through when your having a bad day...
I really hope that you get good news soon and you are with him forever. Angie

 Oh my heart is breaking for you reading your post. I am soooooo sorry for your pain. I can only imagine how hard this is for you and I am sorry. We are all here. Vent away. I hope your case is resolved quickly. You need your baby home!!

I am so sorry that you had to come home without your son, that saddens me. I hope that PGN has some movement and that you can return to Guatemala and bring your son home as soon as possible.

Tears are running down my cheeks as I type. You poor thing, may the last time you say good by to him is when you pack him off to college.
 Several family member and friends asked if we were going to visit - I know that I'm not strong enough to give her back. I pray that PGN moves quickly and that he's home in your arms soon.
