Question Looking for some information

Does anyone know how we would go about changing our INS approval from one child to two children? I believe our Home Study approved us for one so I assume that we would need the social worker to update the report and resubmit.

My husband and I are in the process of adopting a 5 month old girl. However, the process has been very stressful over the last month or so. We were told that once we received our PA that we would be in PGN. We received the PA only to find out that our case had never been presented to Family Court. We were assured that we would be in PGN by yesterday. Again, this was inaccurate and it seems like our Facilitator and Agency are having some issues.

If anyone has an agency that they would recommend to start our second adoption please PM me. We did research when selecting the agency we have now, we were very impressed with the information we found. However, we are not eager to start the process over if there are unsettled issues that may impact our child coming home. Thank you.

You have to get your homestudy updated and also your immigration paperwork.

This is the only things that where relayed to me when I filled out my I600a, I was just marking one and I was told to mark two or more just in case that way I would not have to amend my immigration paperwork or my homestudy..

I cant help you with an agent, I actually dumped mine and I am using a Chattanooga lawyer and a Guate lawyer, that communicate with me weekly by email. I have the problem of I want an older child, and most agents deal with baby's.

I am also in the process of adopting 2 seperate children - with different agencies, one which is not so good. Curious who your agency is because your story sounds very familiar I can also give you the name of the 'good' agency.

Have a great day!!!
