THOUGHT: Love that surpasses knowledge. That's very difficult to explain,but when you have loved your spouse for decades and he or she is as close to you as any bodily organ, you experience what this means.When you love a child and do what you never dreamed you could do for another human being, you understand this phrase. And when you stand before God, adopted as a full heir of all his great riches, a full sibling to Jesus Christ the Lord, and know you are seen as holy, without reproach, and blameless, you begin to understand this phrase.

PRAYER: Holy and incredible God, help me to know in my soul the love that is greater than words and knowledge so that I may not only be like you, but that I may know you in experience just as I know you in faith. Through Jesus I pray. Amen.

praying4little1 -. Please pray for my peace. With all the business of trying to get two dossiers together (one for Guatemala and one for Haiti) I didn't realize how much time had passed. Now that we are paper-ready, it occurred to me that we don't even have DNA authorization yet. We had a prior 171H so we've been waiting for DNA since our referral on March 13....8 weeks!

mombyfaith-close friend (Jean) was diagnosed with luekemia this past Friday, started Chemo yesterday and is in ICU. She is a precious lady and even though she is had this devastated blow she is still praising our Savior. Chloe was back at the dr. today for the 2nd time in the 4 weeks that she has been home. Ears still infected and now she has a sinus infection and pink eye. She is miserable. Was I know her immune system is probably low to all these new germs, but I sure thought the antibiotic she has been on for the last few weeks would have cleared the ears up,

She is 36 years old and has terminal cancer. It started as colon cancer and has spread to many organs and lymph nodes. We all know her prognosis is not good, but she is a fighter...She is the kindest, most giving person I've ever known. Vickibunny-. We are into PGN for 3 1/2 weeks now and hoping to get out soon. They also had to cancel my surgery and can't reschedule it until July and this puts me in horrible pain since they had to move the surgery. It also means that once the surgery is done I can't hold the baby for 4-6 weeks so I am stressing about that and hoping that she will be home long before then and adjusted to me so it wont be so hard on her to have someone else watching her. I am so worried about bonding.

Packgirl- -My father is battling Multiple Mylaloma.. My dad just finished 6 rounds of chemo. Pray that his cancer is/and will stay in remission.
pray for us to have a timely stay in pgn and not to encounter the same problems that we had in family court!

Baybeeboy- UPDATE-We have just been informed that the registrar's office has STILL not issued the document necessary to have our case be re-submitted to PGN. We've been told that it COULD be done by the end of this month. Our son turned a year old over the weekend, and we still do not have him home despite being "matched" with him when he was less than 2 weeks old.



captainzip90-. We got the papers we needed from the uncle . It will be a long process but we are hanging in with this child.

zanjen05-We have been in PGN for four weeks now and I am so ready to bring our little man home. Please keep us in your prayers!

Mindy41065-UPDATE-my dad is getting worse. I really dont know how I will make it through this. Im so consumed by it I cant enjoy everyday life. I went this weekend and he was so scared and sad. He kept me up all night so he would not have to be alone and cried most of the time and said if only I could get one more year I would be happy. Well we where told he had about 2 weeks left and we just dont have the heart to tell him. You dont know my dad but he cant handle anything mentally. I know you think we are giving him false hope but we just know he cant deal with the news. Im devastated. In a way I want him to pass on because he is suffering now with physical pain and mental pain. I guess Im scared and want to know if anyone out there had a love one die of cancer how does it eventually take your life. He has a huge tumor in his lung and im so scared he will suffocate to death.



Candkss-My 12 year old cousin had a 15 lbd tumer removed from her overy. They had to take the overy also. They think it may be cancer. Her name is Sarah. Also for my husbands business. We are waiting on our marriage lic. from Las Vegas to send in our I600A. We have been waiting for months!!!

tj's momma-My son will be 3 in may, has to have dental surgery to save his molars. ., his teeth will be detetiorated without the surgery. He needs these teeth until about 12 years old. I am so worried- he has to be put to sleep..Can you please say a prayer for my son

FH-ANGELKISSES0102-For my dear friend (DH is also Godfather to her 5 yo son) who at 33 is dying from stage 4 ovarian cancer. Diagnosed just on this past Thanksgiving Day, she is non-responsive to any treatment. Please pray her passing is as comfortable, quick,and painless as possible, for her DH, and her 2 boys, just 5 yo & 7 yo...who will be completely lost and crushed.

Waiting forCeleste- We should have pink either tomorrow or Monday and then we should have the visa appt next week and we plan to return on Saturday the 10th with her if all goes well. So - I guess we are really just praying for PINK before we go so we know when we can return - and HOPEFULLY that will be on Saturday the 10th.

tmlewis-.- -.we received news today that the immigration office has sent us an I-72 form. We think it is a request for more information. Will keep you all posted

stepilynn- A very close friend of mine was admitted to the hospital with cardiac problems. She is 37 years old and recently brought home her infant son from Guatemala

djchris-Please pray for my dad's continued improvement in health, so that he can meet his newest granddaughter someday (hopefully soon).Almost three weeks ago my dad was doing extremely poorly- he has congestive heeart failure, and his heart beat is very irregular. the procedure to fix it didnt work, and we were told to go home and make him comfortable. Well, dad decided it DID work, and has been feeling better each day- further tests show his heart rate is still way off, but it doesn't seem to be effecting him as badly... he was out working in the yard today!

Krambk- Please pray for not so terrible news for us we was fingerprinted on May 9th and Immigration called yesterday, and left a message to call them back I am sitting here waiting for 8:00am to roll around so I can find out what is wrong. UPDATE-Ricardo was discharged from hospital Thanks to all of you that prayed for him, another miracle of prayer

Candace3-We accepted the referral of a beautiful baby girl last week. Now the birthmother is having second thoughts. She came in yesterday and has asked for a few weeks to 'think about it'. We were going to sign POA but now they have told us to wait. I just don't know what to think. If she is having second thoughts now what will stop her from changing her mind in two, three, or four months from now. I'm very upset but I am just trying to rest in the Lord's hands. If the birthmother wants her daughter back that is understandable. It must be so hard! But I just wish she would decide now and know for sure that she wants her back or else let her go and not change her mind later. Please say a quick prayer for this birthmother

LMG- been in PGN for over 5 months and Eli turns one on Saturday with the combination of NOT being out of PGN, his 1 year birthday approaching and Mother's Day please send your prayers for LMG and her family,


WesieMom- -My husband fell 20ft on Sunday from a ladder while trimming a tree for my dad. He has 3 stitches in his nose and fractured 2 vertabrae in his lower back, possibly a third. They aren't sure yet. He also hurt his right shoulder, but not sure the outcome of that just yet. He will be in a back brace, thank god he doesn't need surgery as of right now. The Dr. says he is a very lucky young man. He will be off work for 4-5 months and probably will never be the same. The only thing he is allowed to do is walk when he gets home. So, looks like him and I will get skinny from the walks, and me mowing the lawn and taking care of the house...
Just wanted to share.....if I get any updates on our process

Lifessence-home still for sale almost a year next week - praying that God brings the right buyers at the perfect time when our new home He has for us is ready for our forever family to move into it. please pray for wisdom and strength as continue on our adoption journey. We have been waiting patiently on God's timing for this and hope it is His will that our house finally sells. With everything in our lives so up in the air it would be truly nice to have this behind us while we go through this complete unknown world of adoption. please pray for our birth mothers as we go through DNA and Family Court in the coming week. please pray for safe travel on our next visit in another week and that we are all healthy on this trip and coming home.

Sweettlc- Please pray for my husband and I. We are childless and I had to have a hysterectomy in 2004. We have a lot of love to give and we want to adopt. We have a few things that might be strikes against us...we are handing in our application personally to our chosen homestudy agency this week. Please pray that they find favor in us and accept us. Please pray that we will be able to adopt!

Adcollins-don't know yet whether or not there's anything really to worry about, not that that's ever stopped me from worrying. My husband got notification that he needs some further testing after a medical exam. It could be that the initial test was faulty, or that there's something relatively minor, or , it could be that there's something bad on the horizon. I'm trying hard not to get really upset, but I'm having a hard time of that right now.

dawnrenee58-Hi...I know I am not from the Guat circle, but prayers are prayers, I am fostering in Nicaragua, and have been here for 4 weeks now. While here, my husband's g-pa died, all the way across the country. He had to fly home all of a sudden, which was very expensive! It has also been much more expensive to live here than we anticipated...over $400 a week! So, I would LOVE prayers that we could go home soon. My goal is 2 more weeks.

Shoegirl06-A dear friend's daughter had been misdiagnosed with the wrong birth defect. It appears her condition now has increasingly worsened and is not expected to live past the age of 7 and will not grow anymore past this point (she's 2 1/2). Please pray for peace and understanding for her family.

Mom2to-I won't go into the details again but we are stuck in INS waiting for 171h. The only thing I can think of to do is ask for your prayers and positive thoughts that somehow our application will be moving forward again.



Brie Brock-I am feeling more at peace about Kimberli coming home a toddler instead of an infant. I would like to add that we are waiting for PA and planning to visit on July 27th so I could use prayers with both those things. Also I am leaving in 3 weeks for a mission trip to Brazil, could I also pray for safety in Travel.



Coachmom-My sister fell 2 weeks ago on her bike. She had a concussion and told them her leg hurt. They x-rayed the leg and said it was most likely some torn ligaments
and sent her for some therapy. Well, her leg wasn’t feeling any better and the doctor was worried so he sent her for an MRI today. Well, turns out she broke her hip. She has been hobbling around for 2 1/2 weeks, driving and trying to keep her household going with a broken hip! I think she is a little ticked off right now that they missed it.. She is a journalist so I am sure there will be no end to her wrath..Please pray for healing for her.



justme1020-UPDATE-Not such good news with Juan, we ended up at Arnold Palmer on Friday. Juan is running a fever and if we do not get it down we are looking at hospitalization again. We were also told that he may require another surgery or at the very least an angioplasty (sp?) to close a vein the surgeon left open........we were stunned. We had not been told that this was common practice with this type of problem, apparently the vein was left to use as a graft if need be and if not it needs to be closed.......In the meantime Juan is again inconsolable, he is terrified of everyone and falls apart at the drop of a hat. His chest is a giant black and blue and the incision from the chest tube continues to ooze..........



Deborahromero-My father is very ill, I pray that he is removed from his pain and disease. Please God, let them find the cause and solution. I pray that his recovery will be short and easy.

ourdreamcametru-Just wanted to ask you for prayers for my neighbor and her husband. They have been matched with a darling little girl who is 5 and her bio brother, 2 since last October, they are in Guatemala. They were called for an emergency visit two months ago because the kids were not doing well at the foster home they were in. Just a few minutes ago my friend told me that the bio mother had changed her mind after leaving the children 13 months ago! My friend and her family are devastated, they have rooms ready and everything sit up to bring these children home.

We lost our referral over a month ago and we are still waiting on a new referral. Please pray for my patience as I wait. I feel I have really been bugging my SW and I just need to be calm and wait.
