fc social workers on strike

i hadn't realized this, but the update from my agency stated they had gone on strike (higher wages) at the end of may. so, if your case isn't moving in fc, this may be why!! but, they also said that they were coming back to work this week during negotiations; so this is good news!! let's cross our fingers that they write a lot of these reports this week and get what they want so they can push those papers through!!! yeah!!

You're kidding?!? There sure didn't seem like a lot of FC outs lately, that must be why.

I saw the Yahoo posting about this. My friends had their SWI on May 26th, I wonder if the strike happened after that?

I had a friend send me a copy of a news letter that had the same info. You must be using the same agency. Hopefully things will move in FC more quickly now.

OH no that is where I am suppose to be! I have entered FC and have a date for the sw interview 6/9. My agency hasn't said anything about it? Has anybody else heard anything? Is this true? Will it delay our case through FC??? I am for them getting more money by the way....but I hope it doesn't delay the FC process! Especially since PGN seems to be taking so long.

Anybody have any more info on this?

Brie

FC interview 6/6

Hi,
I just joined this forum but saw the info today about social workers going on strike.
Our agency coordinator emailed me today and said the social worker interviewed the bmother yesterday, 6/6.

Our case went into Family Court 6/6 as well. Here's hoping for a quick report from the social worker for all those in FC.
