Dear Lord,

As we move into a new week, I pray that all here who are waiting for children or who are experiencing difficulties in their lives, would remain steadfast in their faith. That they will be able to trust that You know what You are doing. Give them the strength to keep pressing on and as the eagle has the incredible wingspan to soar higher and higher, so too, let them keep their wings out to fly to You. And just as a mother eagle will cover her chicks with those wings, cover them with Yours and keep them close. Please work in the hearts of those attorneys and PGN reviewers to move quickly and bring these waiting children home. In Jesus Name, Amen

praying4little1 -. Please pray for my peace. With all the business of trying to get two dossiers together (one for Guatemala and one for Haiti) I didn't realize how much time had passed. Now that we are paper-ready, it occurred to me that we don't even have DNA authorization yet. We had a prior 171H so we've been waiting for DNA since our referral on March 13.

mombyfaith-close friend (Jean) was diagnosed with luekemia this past Friday, started Chemo yesterday and is in ICU. She is a precious lady and even though she is had this devastated blow she is still praising our Savior. Chloe was back at the dr. today for the 2nd time in the 4 weeks that she has been home. Ears still infected and now she has a sinus infection and pink eye. She is miserable. Was I know her immune system is probably low to all these new germs, but I sure thought the antibiotic she has been on for the last few weeks would have cleared the ears up,.

Baybeeboy- We accepted referral of our son less than two weeks after he was born and ? months later, still do not have him home. In fact, after ? weeks in PGN, we have been kicked out because of a missing signature on the birth mother's ID, . Then it's back into PGN. Please give us the strength to endure more waiting with faith that it will end soon with our son in our arms.

tj's momma-My son will be 3 in may, has to have dental surgery to save his molars. ., his teeth will be detetiorated without the surgery. He needs these teeth until about 12 years old. I am so worried- he has to be put to sleep..Can you please say a prayer for my son

FH-ANGELKISSES0102-For my dear friend (DH is also Godfather to her 5 yo son) who at 33 is dying from stage 4 ovarian cancer. Diagnosed just on this past Thanksgiving Day, she is non-responsive to any treatment. Please pray her passing is as comfortable, quick,and painless as possible, for her DH, and her 2 boys, just 5 yo & 7 yo...who will be completely lost and crushed.

justme1020-UPDATE- Juans surgey was Tues at 9 am ,he was in recoveryat 4 pm and his Mom & Dad got to see him at 5pm.He was NOT swollen and black and blue ,as the Dr's had said was possible. Linda said he looked more like he was taking a very peaceful nap.
He did have 15 tubes running in and out of hislittle body.
He had one lung that was colapsing by the 3rd day , but on the 4th day it was greatly improved as he was moving aroung and crying.They were told before surgery he would be in the hospital for 7 to 10 days , but this morning the Dr's said he could go home, this is day 5 .Praise the Lord for allowing this to be so successful.He is cranky , who wouldn't be in his place.He is only allowed infant tylanol and infant motrinfor pain. Please pray the pain goes away !Let's not forget his sister , Hannah , this was very hard on her also.She had only been away from her parents one night until this past week.These are two very special children who have had to become tough as nail , due to no fault of theirs.They are very graetful to EVERYONE for all the prayers and concerns.

stepilynn- A very close friend of mine was admitted to the hospital with cardiac problems. She is 37 years old and recently brought home her infant son from Guatemala

djchris-Please pray for my dad's continued improvement in health, so that he can meet his newest granddaughter someday (hopefully soon).Almost three weeks ago my dad was doing extremely poorly- he has congestive heeart failure, and his heart beat is very irregular. the procedure to fix it didnt work, and we were told to go home and make him comfortable. Well, dad decided it DID work, and has been feeling better each day- further tests show his heart rate is still way off, but it doesn't seem to be effecting him as badly... he was out working in the yard today!

Krambk- Please pray for not so terrible news for us we was fingerprinted on May 9th and Immigration called yesterday, and left a message to call them back I am sitting here waiting for 8:00am to roll around so I can find out what is wrong

LRA- UPDATE-I had surgery last Thursday which they ended up taking out my left ovary and tube, they did not do a total hysterectomy due to all the scar tissue. It turned out to be endometriousis... I am now home and recouping, thanks to the little kitty sitting here with me I am feeling much better. She is a good little nurse. Having my nose bit is a great way to forget surgical wounds. Not to mention attacking the key board!!!

Candace3-We accepted the referral of a beautiful baby girl last week. Now the birthmother is having second thoughts. She came in yesterday and has asked for a few weeks to 'think about it'. We were going to sign POA but now they have told us to wait. I just don't know what to think. If she is having second thoughts now what will stop her from changing her mind in two, three, or four months from now. I'm very upset but I am just trying to rest in the Lord's hands. If the birthmother wants her daughter back that is understandable. It must be so hard! But I just wish she would decide now and know for sure that she wants her back or else let her go and not change her mind later. Please say a quick prayer for this birthmother

wvamom-I would like to ask for prayer for my daughter, Rosemary, who is 16 and having problems with repeated bladder infections--we don't yet know what is causing them.

LMG- been in PGN for over 5 months and Eli turns one on Saturday with the combination of NOT being out of PGN, his 1 year birthday approaching and Mother's Day please send your prayers for LMG and her family,

WesieMom- -My husband fell 20ft on Sunday from a ladder while trimming a tree for my dad. He has 3 stitches in his nose and fractured 2 vertabrae in his lower back, possibly a third. They aren't sure yet. He also hurt his right shoulder, but not sure the outcome of that just yet. He will be in a back brace, thank god he doesn't need surgery as of right now. The Dr. says he is a very lucky young man. He will be off work for 4-5 months and probably will never be the same. The only thing he is allowed to do is walk when he gets home. So, looks like him and I will get skinny from the walks, and me mowing the lawn and taking care of the house...
Just wanted to share.....if I get any updates on our process

Lifessence-home still for sale almost a year next week - praying that God brings the right buyers at the perfect time when our new home He has for us is ready for our forever family to move into it. please pray for wisdom and strength as continue on our adoption journey. We have been waiting patiently on God's timing for this and hope it is His will that our house finally sells. With everything in our lives so up in the air it would be truly nice to have this behind us while we go through this complete unknown world of adoption. please pray for our birth mothers as we go through DNA and Family Court in the coming week. please pray for safe travel on our next visit in another week and that we are all healthy on this trip and coming home.

Sweettlc- Please pray for my husband and I. We are childless and I had to have a hysterectomy in 2004. We have a lot of love to give and we want to adopt. We have a few things that might be strikes against us...we are handing in our application personally to our chosen homestudy agency this week. Please pray that they find favor in us and accept us. Please pray that we will be able to adopt!

Sara’s Mom-We have been waiting nowfor 36 days for our PA. We just found out that a problem our Lawyer was suppose to fix was not! The Embassy gave him 30 days to have it fixed before our 1600 runs out and that what makes Sara our relative.So that means we would not be able to adopt her. We have 10 left to have this fixed and accepted before we loose her! We are terrified! I am suppose to be leaving in 5 more days to go visit her again and to meet our new baby Lilee. Pray this will be handled before I leave

Adcollins-don't know yet whether or not there's anything really to worry about, not that that's ever stopped me from worrying. My husband got notification that he needs some further testing after a medical exam. It could be that the initial test was faulty, or that there's something relatively minor, or , it could be that there's something bad on the horizon. I'm trying hard not to get really upset, but I'm having a hard time of that right now.

dawnrenee58-Hi...I know I am not from the Guat circle, but prayers are prayers, I am fostering in Nicaragua, and have been here for 4 weeks now. While here, my husband's g-pa died, all the way across the country. He had to fly home all of a sudden, which was very expensive! It has also been much more expensive to live here than we anticipated...over $400 a week! So, I would LOVE prayers that we could go home soon. My goal is 2 more weeks.

Shoegirl06-A dear friend's daughter had been misdiagnosed with the wrong birth defect. It appears her condition now has increasingly worsened and is not expected to live past the age of 7 and will not grow anymore past this point (she's 2 1/2). Please pray for peace and understanding for her family.

Mom2to-I won't go into the details again but we are stuck in INS waiting for 171h. The only thing I can think of to do is ask for your prayers and positive thoughts that somehow our application will be moving forward again.



Brie Brock- my daughter turned one year old...we just accepted her referral a month ago. But I am so sad to miss the first year plus of her life. I was so down wondering if I had made a mistake taking an older baby and missing so much of her life. Our daughter is so precious...I wish I would have had the opportunity to know her when she was just a few days old, but without a doubt I know this is our daughter and we are so blessed to have her referral. Please pray that I will have peace about her being older when she comes home

Can you update our prayer request? We are into PGN for 3 1/2 weeks now and hoping to get out soon. They also had to cancel my surgery and can't reschedule it until July and this puts me in horrible pain since they had to move the surgery. It also means that once the surgery is done I can't hold the baby for 4-6 weeks so I am stressing about that and hoping that she will be home long before then and adjusted to me so it wont be so hard on her to have someone else watching her. I am so worried about bonding.
