One year ago today...
We accepted the referral of Ronaldo and Julia. It was a decision that would forever change our lives and today we are not any closer to having them home than that day one year ago.
Here is the verse that I have taped to my computer and that I read each morning to remind myself who is in control..."The LORD of hosts has sworn it saying, "Surely, just as I have intended so it has happened, and just as I have planned so it will stand, For the LORD of hosts has planned, and who can frustrate it?" And as for His strectched out hand, who can turn it back?" Isaiah 14: 24, 27. Even in this, may God be praised.

I remember when you accepted their referral--I cheered you on then, and I am cheering you on now! We can't see the good that God is going to bring from this situation, but we can have faith that it will happen--but I already know you know that. I pray for you and the kids almost daily. I wish I could pull some strings and make it happen faster for you, but God has a different timetable. We won't stop praying on your behalf until they come home. May God bless you for your faithfulness. May He bring all four of your little ones home soon and may He be especially close to Ronaldo and Julia as they wait. Do not be dismayed, the Lord your God is with you.

I am so sorry.. I am still praying everyday for you and for those sweet kids. I just know that God will get you all through this. He will bring those kids home to you soon. He has to.... He just has to. I wish I could take you out for the worlds biggest margaritta and a good cry... I could use one too. I can only send you a cyber hug, please know that if I could give you a real one, I would in a heartbeat.... We have to hear something good soon..... I am soooo very sorry....
