PGn List 5/13/2006

Welcome to all the newcomers; you are all in light blue. mrsrodger, rrrajan, shaynadam, gbde, katsco, Bizzie, vickibunni, LRA, Terri B, mom2Isabelle, dspakowsky, Ismom, mybabykalli, & StillnAntigua. I hope you all get quick OUTS

CONGRATULATIONS to our May grads statefan, Yelena, waiting4Celeste, & Dillpickle Go Get those babies!!!

We need to pray for LMG as her baby is turning 1 years old soon, and that is going to be a hard day for her.

My spiritual saying this week are from my book "God always has a plan B for women" I have quoted from this book in another post called the Dolphins' Perspective. It is a great book and I highly recommend it for those that need an extra encouragement on a hard day. It is a Hallmark Gift book printed in 2001

My first quote comes from Jean Syswerda and Ann Spangler.

Joy comes in the morning. Joanna discovered this in a miraculous was on Jesus' resurrection day. She went to his tomb expecting to minister to his dead body and to grieve. Instead, her sorrow turned to tremendous joy. Our joy may not come this morning or tomorrow morning or even the morning after that. We face too many hardships, too many difficult situations, too much sorrow here on earth to think joy will arrive with each morning. But it will come. God has promised: there will be a joyful morning for all who trust in him.

My second Quote comes from Anne Bradstreet.

If we had no winter; the spring would not be so pleasant; if we did not sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome.

My last is a prayer for all of us waiting on Mother's Day; I recieve daily devotionals and prayers and this was today's I think it is appropriate.

Dear Father,

Thank you for the assurance that my work for you will never be
lost. The Lord Jesus promised that even a cup of cold water given
in his name will not lose its reward.

May I be zealous, steadfast, and immovable, always abounding in
the work of the Lord and utterly counting on you.

I trust you, Lord, because I believe that my efforts for you are
not in vain. May I always give myself fully to your work, knowing
that anything else I might accomplish in this life will have no
value in eternity.

In the name of your son, my Savior and Lord, I pray. Amen.

May you all have a blessed Mother's Day and week after.
Keep those outs coming.

Nichole

Nichole, Thank so much for taking the time to put this list together

And thanks for the prayers.. I really enjoyed reading them..

I can't remember if I let you know yet about our case (it took a while to settle after the visit trip)...

We found out on 5/6 that baby girl has been in PGN since 4/25..

We're waiting still for PA on baby boy..

Thanks!

Our little Elijah turns one today in fact...thank you for mentioning. And yes it has been a difficult day for us and tomorrow will be as well. At least I am blessed with my two wonderful daughters and I know they will make tomorrow special for me even though I'm sad that Eli's not home yet. Thanks for thinking of me!

I spoke with my caseworker yesterday and she said that I was in PGN but she didn't have the date in front of her. Would you please place me on this list using yesterday's date and as soon as I get the accurate date I'll email you with the correction? Thanks for keeping the list.

I do have PA.

LMG- I'm sorry you are missing you child's first birthday. That must be very difficult for you. Are you able to communicate w/ the foster mom to see if they celebrated or took pics?? My daughter's b-day is only a few months away and I fear that she won't be home... I know alot can happen in a few months, but the trend w/ our case is that NOT MUCH will happen in a few months. I am praying for you- I hope he is home very soon..

Hi

Thank you for keeping the list. I still don't have accurate dates but we originally went in in mid-Feb w/ no PA, had a KO and back in early March.
Thanks!

Thank you Angie. My husband had bought some kind of disposable video camera and we left it for her last month on our visit trip. We asked her if she would use it on his birthday to capture some of his party. We also left her a few disposable cameras. I just hope PGN starts cranking out the cases soon.

I received confirmation that I went in PGN on Friday 5-12-6. Please add me to the list.

My agency coordinator seemed to think that I was "entering at a good time". She said our agency had 5 outs last week. When I asked her about the delay - she said one reason was because the new PGN was being trained and then the Guat. Congress was considering implementing changes to comply with Hague and the director was waiting for a decision. Apparently congress decided it was against Guatemala's constitution and they will not make any changes so now the director will be releasing people from PGN.

Nothing new...but the same news once again.

We had a KO in April - not sure what day we were kicked out (I'm guessing 4/17) - we went back in on 4/20!

I am dying to see someone post an OUT today!
