Gail,
Can't offer any advice, I have a son as well, hoping to adopt a girl. But, boy, isn't accessorizing a good problem to have?! Have fun! ![]() |

Gymboree has nice tights and leggings. I've tried Walmart and Target tights and they just don't last through the wash more than a few times.
For winter, I love putting Gymboree leggings under dresses. Lana |

The really thick tights from Kohl's hold up pretty good (for winter).

I got $2 tights from Target and she only wore them a few times before outgrowing them so I felt they were ok for the money..I am sure Gymboree's are better though, but for the money I felt Target's were ok..my daughter hates wearing dresses and only wears them to church..so maybe if your daughter is wearing a dress more often you could go with the more expensive ones..

If you're wanting thinner dressier tights, I use Trim Fit.. They stay up the best and are thinner around the legs, so they don't wrinkle and sag.. I think maybe Dillards or Dept Stores handle them.. I get them at a local boutique.

I like Gymboree or Children's Place tights. They seem to last the longest and wear pretty well. I try not to put them in the dryer, that helps too!
Good Luck....I have two girls and I just love "accessorizing"! Barbara |

Old Navy winter cable tights are awesome! Only thing I will buy. You have to get them really early though as they sell out. Don't know if they sell summer weight. I've never looked.
The ones from Target do stink!

Just want to encourage some cute shorts and pants for the period when she is crawling. Our daughter just recently began to walk and she is much happier with dresses now than she was 2 months ago. There are some very cute girly options.

I think the very best tights ever are Lands End. they are definately more expensive but they last absolutely forever. My daughter grew out of them before they wore out and you sure can't say that about any tights you buy at Walmart, target or anywhere else like that. You do have to buy them early too or they run out.

I like Gymboree and Lands End but my favorite is Hanna Andersson. Some of my older daughter's Hanna tights have been handed down to my younger daughter. Unbelievably, they still look new.
