Well we did not get out on Friday not that I wa expecting to, but the agency is still hopeful that we will get out soon.

My dad came through his surgery great I had sucha rough week last week and it was so long and tiring.

We worked more on Carson's Room yesterday trying to get it ready for him to come home.

Hey, Liz (and Rachael from the other thread),

Well, we have our PA and are waiting for PGN to hopefully let us out!!! We have been in since March 3rd. I am getting close to my trip and am starting to get very nervous. I am so hoping to be out of PGN by the time I leave but am losing hope with each day that goes by. I hope everyone is doing o.k. and has a great week!!

Hi Fall Beginners!

I'm so happy that your dad is doing okay.

We got PA this morning!

The shade is hung in Flora's room - now I'll have to get the curtain rod up & the curtains made! Rick Rack needs to be sewn on the bed skirt. Baby stuff has to be moved from the basement & our son's closet...all things that I didn't have the heart to do over these sllllloooooowwwww months.

May we all get good news this week.

I also worked on the nursery a little this weekend. I'm not rushing because it's nice having a little to do here and there to keep me busy during this PGN wait. Today I plan on washing some of his clothes in Dreft! I know it sounds silly but that is something I've looked forward to do for SO long. I think it makes it all the more real.

Hi guys. Well we are still in PGN (since 3/24) hoping to get out soon. I emailed our agency this morning, because I said that I was going to start keeping on top of them now, just to make sure I know what is going on. NO news. Oh well, I expect we will hear something good soon. I have a good feeling about this week.

We are still waiting for our pics and med update. Nothing yet. 2 weeks late. So I am growing impatient but staying positive.

COngrats to everyone who received good news and for everyone else yours is coming just be patience and hold on.

Can't wait until this is full of OUTS!!!

Wow- things are going pretty slow for us these days... We're suppose to be bringing our babies home not still waiting for PGN, DNA, ect... Anyway, I am in the same boat. We were kicked out of PGN b/c the reviewer wanted us to write a letter explaining why we wanted to adopt from Guatemala, the atty wants us to redo some of the original dossier documents. It's a blah week already. I did, however, get an updated medical this am. And I didn't even have to beg, plead and threaten to get it....lol. Also, I'm getting geared up for my third visit in a couple of weeks. Atleast that will get me through for a little while before I get down in the dumps again....My baby girl is 9 months old tomorrow and I just want her home, as everyone else wants their babies home...

PLEASE powers that be- Can we bring our babies home this month????

Hi everyone,

glad to hear that there had been some movement at least! Liz -- glad to hear about your dad ---- small steps to recovery!

As for us, NOTHING. I sent a not so nice email over the weekend to our agency in regards to pictures. Sorry, I am just TIRED of this. Is it that hard to ge a flipping picture?!?! I said that I would send down disposable camera -- can I do that? oh well, I did!!
I also started on the nursery. Just cleaning and arranging as we have the 2 cribs, a 5 drawer dresser PLUS a quenn size bed --- the room isn't that big! and we are waiting for the other dresser. mmm, interesting! We are also still waiting for the crib mattresses so we can't "really" set up the cribs but .... anyway, that is it for Hawaii check in .... how is everyone else? We are missing a few people aren't we?

Maura - I hear you about the pictures!!! I don't understand how it's so hard??!! I had to call and request some new pictures. I made that call on April 27. Still nothing. I know there is a digital camera down there because our referral picture is a digital. We have the referral pic at 4 days old and then som hard copy pictures our agency took when they were down there when he was 9 weeks old. He is now 15 weeks old this week. I just don't understand how some people are getting monthly pictures and some even get video!! If I had an updated picture maybe this pgn thing would be a little easier.

Ok - enough of the pity party. Had to get that off my chest though and Maura's post triggered it.

Liz im glad your dad is doing better .I have been keeping you all in my prayers daily .I pray we all hear good news soonn.I found out today finally that we got out of FC on 3-20 and entered PGN by 3-27.We got PA on 4-27.So im praying we are back in PGN with PA or will be soon.

Hi All-
As most of you know I got PA last Wednesday. I also got my son's 3 month old pics and medical update the same day. He is so cute and now weighs 13 lbs 3 oz. He doesn't seem to be missing any meals!

I am waiting to hear that I have been entered into PGN. My agency coordinator gets back from Guatemala today and she is going to be sending me a video so hopefully I'll get into PGN and a video this week.

Hope we all see some movement.
