Back from ourVisit Trip!
(Again, I'm guilty of cross-posting.. I'm just so happy to show off the bebes!
 )For all those who are considering or thinking about visiting - please do!!!! It was soooooo worth it for us!!! At first, we didn't plan to visit. We didn't know how we could afford it, but many of my forum friends encouraged me to find a way. With a bit of creative money maneuvering, we did find a way and boy, I'm so glad we made this happen! We arrived in GC on 4/27. My dh and I LOVE to travel so we wanted to do a bit of touring first. So, the day after we arrived in GC, we flew out to Flores and visited Tikkal to see the Mayan temples/pyramids. We hired a guide and hiked through the rainforest and climbed the temples - it was fantastic! We flew back to GC and had our babes from 4/29 to 5/2. It took a bit of adjusting having 2 babes but once we got into the swing of things, it all went smoothly!  Our baby girl is soooo easy going, laid back, and spends 99% of the time smiling and giggling.. Our baby boy is just a cutie pie, but he's a bit colicky and has some breathing issues which we're trying to figure out.. Poor kids have a nurse as a mommy so they were stripped down and thoroughly assessed right away.  We had sooo much fun!  ~and~ We are soooo in love! Handing them back to the fostermoms were one of the hardest things we had to do.. If any of you were at the Marriott on Monday, we were the ones in the lobby bawling.  I can't wait to have them home! (p.s. We used Trent from Velocity Tours = He's Great!; We also stayed at the Marriott and can go on and on how nice everybody was!) Here are some pics:

Your babies are absolutely BREATHTAKING !!
It brought tears to my eyes to see them both & you & your husband so in love with them, it reminded me sooo much of our visit trip to see Anthony & how we looked @ him & fell in love. Hope the rest of your journey is a quick one so your beautiful children can be home with you where they belong. God bless you both !! Glad you went, it is PRICELESS !!!!!!!!! Your babies are so sweet! Visit trips are the best, I'm glad we talked you into going! Believe me, the Marriott lobby has seen plenty of tears, probably bucketfuls. We cried their for quite a while too. Great pictures!

So glad you had a wonderful time. Your children are just beautiful and it's so wonderful to see some pictures of them together like that. I know it had to be hard to leave. We can't wait to get our referral and take a visit trip..but there is that definite part of me that dreads it becasue we will have to leave....and she will stay....and that will just suck. No ohter word for it. But the good thing is that they DO come home..even if it's not as fast as we would like. Glad you had such a good visit trip.
