OUTS!!!!????!?!?!? Thought today would be the day that there would be an enormous amount of outs? I don't see a single one. This was supposed to be the day of great news for everyone. Let's all take a trip to GUA and attack the new guy and tell him to get off of his high horse and get these children home! Oh well.....another day wasted, another day lost..........

Apparently there has been a small handful of outs in the last couple of weeks, including one today, but just not anyone on this forum. I hope this is all true so that we can expect some great news this week!

I thought for sure we would hear something today too or I would see a huge amount of people on here this evening saying thay had OUTS!! What can we do to rush the process? Then we have to wait how long for PINK??? I spoke to my agency last Thursday and she said we should be out in a few weeks---- I can not wait!!! It does help to get on the forum and see how other cases are going too-(even though not much is happening with PGN)!! I do know how you all feel and maybe we'll all be at the Marriott at the same time!! Everyone of you have my prayers!

Hi,

I also thought that I would hear something today. All I can think is, I hate this man. I know it's irrational but it's really getting to me. Our guy was 6 mos old yesterday and my heart is really breaking. I hope and pray that things move for all of us soon!

Strange as it may seem to some people not everyone involved in the adoption process bothers to join or take part in forums. There are people I know that do not know of this forum and are not soul searching to decide whether to find others. Indeed I've heard that some agencies do not recommend spending too much time on the internet as all it does is end up in sometimes futile timescale comparisons...

So it may well be that there are "outs" that are just not published here or elsewhere. I mean if there are 3000 adoptions in a year we certainly don't read of that many outs being posted as far as I can see....

This is true. As far as I know, I am the only person from my agency's office who participates on these forums. Right now, my agency's So Cal office has at least 3-4 other families (and more in their main office) waiting for Guatemalan babies, and I'm the only one who posts here. They had 2 other Guatemalan families, one who came home in Feb, and the other in April, both of whom were not forum members.

I don't know the status of the other families in my agency who are waiting. Frankly, I don't want to know -- if I find out that people in my agency who started at the same time as us are home, I will have a complete meltdown!

Our agency would never tell us NOT to participate on these forums because they DO offer support and information and a place to "meet" others who know what this is like. But...they do warn against comparing timelines and freaking out over rumors. I'm guilty of having done both!

Bottom line for me: while I am frustrated (and sometimes panicky) about why we've been in PGN for a hundred years, I don't think there's really anything "wrong" in PGN -- people ARE getting out, just not any of us yet!
