Question Guatemala Adoption Blog - What Towns, Cities, and Places???
Hey everyone!

I'm going to be doing a section on Guatemala Information. Right now I've just posted a brief history of the country. Following a couple articles dealing with economy and politics, I want to begin doing one post for each major city (i.e. Guatemala City, Antigua, Tikal, Panajachel, etc.)

Now I have a sneaking suspicion many of you would like a history or at least a fair description of your child's birthplace or some other location in Guatemala. Let me here your input of where you'd like me to research.

That way, it will be a permanent resource where newly adopting parents can continue to go and read about the place there newly referred child was born!

Our son: Escuintla, Escuintla... birthmother is from Masagua, Escuintla

Our daughter-to-be: Cuilapa, Santa Rosa (I do know that it is the "Center of the Americas" - the true geographic and equidistant center between Alaska and Cape Horn... that sure made me sound smart, didn't it?! I got that info off the Internet. )
