children medicals
Are medical forms/letters for existing children still needed for the dossier? I know PGN started asking for them early last year, but I'm not sure if it's required now after a couple PGN personnel changes.
I haven't gotten the package from my agency yet, so I'm throwing the question out here... TIA, Janet

yes...
We just completed our dossier, and we needed a medical letter from our family physician for everyone in the house (which included our 4-year-old son). The physician had to have it notarized before returning it to us.
I'm guessing that would be the same with each agency, but not sure. |

We had a separate medical letter for each person in the household - so we had 7!
Blessings! Shelly

Thanks everyone for your help! Last time around for our medicals, we ended up getting the form needed for the homestudy notarized for use in our dossier. (B/c our doctor was too confused when it came to filling out a form for the HS AND writing a letter for the dossier. Boy did he have me worked up!) Anyway, since we never had any problems with this in PGN (or anywhere else in the process), we'll do the same for our DD medical form!

Yep
We had to have just a letter for our dossier... and all 3 children could be in the one letter. We did not have to have forms filled out for dossier, but did for home study.

We needed medical forms for the other 8 children for our homestudy, but not for our dossier, only me and my dh. We did not have a problem with PGN. Go figure. I didn't even know others had to have them. It's so strange that dossiers are so different. I guess each agency asks for whatever their clients have ever been kicked out of PGN for. I know we did a few things "just in case" too. Best wishes!!!

We had to have a separate medical letter written for each child still living at home. My oldest stepdaughter didn't need one because she lives away at college. If I remember correctly, it was for the dossier, not just for the agency.

My agency had us get medicals for each of our kids in the home because they had a case get KO'd out of PGN because they didn't have them.

We only had to have the our children's medical for our homestudy. We're in PGN right now, so I hope it doesn't become an issue. Or agency hasn't had any problems in PGN because of this.
