Hello everyone. We are about to adopt another child from Guatemala and I would like to know if someone has a list of the current paperwork and documents that are included in the dossier for Guatemala. We adopted our son in 2003 and I didn't know if there have been many changes to the dossier or not. A complete list of documents required would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

There isn't a generic list out there to my knowledge. Each agency has diff. requirements. It would be easier if you waited to get the information from the agency you sign with. That way you aren't by chance having to do anything over again.

Bren is right...every agency has a different list and it can be very specific. There are some things that everyone has that you could begin working on:
Birth Certificates
Marriage License/Certificate
Home Study
Medical Letters (but these are often agency specific)
Witness Statements (again very agency specific)
Employment Letters
Police Clearances

Then there are other agency specific things like: Reference Letters, Passport Copies, Name Affidavit, etc.
