Post-placement reports after Guatemala adoption

I've read where some people had to do post-placement reports for a Guatemala adoption. Since the country doesn't require them, are people doing it for their agency?

Our agency required post placement reports also. AND...for our readoption in the state of MD, we had to submit the post placement reports as part of the paperwork. So, you may want to check with your state to see if it's required if you are going to readopt.
Good luck.

Our agency requires it and I think that....

the Dept. of Children and Families require it.

In CT. you also have to have so many hours of "traning" prior to adopting.

A state thing.

We were actually handed a huge handout from our agency with DCF's guidelines to adoption.

I know they(DCF) scrutinize the adoptions but unsure what exactly they require.

We also had to get clearance from DCF before we could adopt too.
