Does anyone know how i could go about this?

Hi Everyone! I was curious if anyone knew how i could get involved in being an escort for adoption agencies for children of international adoption.
OR, i am really interested in working with an adoption agency, but not sure how to go about it. we do not have any in our area where we live.
thanks!

The vast majority of adoption agencies require you to be a licensed social worker in order to manage adoption cases.

As for escorts, at every agency I know only employees of the agency are allowed to escort...I would imagine the liability of having anyone else do it would be tremendous.

I would highly recommend 'volunteering' your time in giving back to Guatemala or your local adoption support group. Sometimes those voluntary positions turn into jobs in the long run.

Good Luck!
