We're home!! Sorry it took so long to post..
We got home from Guatemala with Connor on 3/24. Life has been quite hectic since. However, Connor is awesome!! He is happy and smiling most of the time, especially when his belly is full. And if his belly is full, he will sleep 10 hours at night. Our pickup went very smooth and the foster family was wonderful. We liked them so much that we invited them back for dinner at the Marriott the night before we left. They were so happy to get to see Connor one last time. We met lots of other very nice adoptive families while we were there. We did run into Momto2ddb while at the Marriott. It was great to meet another forum friend and get to chat for a while. DH and I also went on a trip to Antiqua. I am glad we got out and saw some of the country. Our trip home was not good. I woke up that morning with vomiting and diarrhea. I was really sick, I had to keep sitting in the baggage check line at the airport to keep from passing out. I even vomited in the ficus tree pot at the gate where we waited in the Guat airport. So if anyone is going to Guat soon, stay away from the ficus tree! I was sick for 3 days. I drank a sprite with ice in it and a fish sandwich at the Marriott the night before we left. My DH drank coke with ice all week and it didn't bother him. We are all finally getting adjusted to all the changes here at home and we're getting into a routine. Connor wants to be held most of the time because the foster mother carried and rocked him a lot. She really loved him and took good care of him. We are so happy that he had such a great foster family. Here are some pictures from our trip...

OH NO!!!!!!!!!! I feel TERRIBLE that you got sick!!!!!!!!!!!
 I encouraged you to enjoy the sites and the tastes of Guatemala. I hope you don't hate me! I think maybe it was the McDonalds food!!! I know I never had ice, but I did drink their icy juices. I am glad to hear you went to Antigua and enjoyed that. It was nice to meet you and sweet Connor. He is such a cutie.Have fun!!!!

Connor is so adorable! And he looks so happy in all the pictures. Is his hair curly? --so cute!

Conner is so handsome...Glad you are home!
As for the sickness, I did good on my visit trip but on pick up we ate lunch in Antigua the day before we left and I was sick for about 5 days... UGHH. Not fun! Glad you are better.

Thanks so much for all the kind words. I don't hate you Mom2ddb!! I'm really glad that you suggested going to Antigua and enjoying the tastes of Guatemala. We had a very interesting breakfast at the Marriott buffet. Some sort of tortillas with creamy sauce and cheese, boiled eggs with creamy white sauce over them, and some sort of fried bannanas, just to name a few things. We would have been sorry if we would not have visited Antigua. I was so glad to meet you and your bella Briele! dyardley - the carrier is the ergo new generation. I loved it!! It makes you and the baby a little hot and sweaty, but I bet they all do. We walked around Antigua for a couple of hours and my back did not hurt at all. It's very comfortable.
