Found a Hispanic specific height & weight chart
There have been many discussions about how the American doctors are always trying to chart our kids on the American growth charts. Well today I came across height and weight charts for kids and there are seperate charts for race.
Go to halls dot md, then look down at the bottom for Growth Charts for Height and Weight, you'll get a list of all the available charts.

I went to there but don't see a link for growth charts at the bottom... any ideas?

I found charts only for adults but then after going to the adult charts I scrolled to the bottom and found pediatric ones.
Miguel is 50% for his age but that is the same as in the US charts, at least from the last one time he was measured. Maybe this chart is for people of hispanic background that live in the US?

I found this interesting because my son is being referred to a endrocronologist for his low height and weight. He is not even on the charts so they are evaluating him to see if he has a growth hormone deficiency. Other then that, he is cute as can be and totally healthy. I think the category to focus on is Other and not the hispanic category. From what I gather, Hispanic is specific to Mexican American children and other relates to other hispanic and other ethnic groups.

I don't know how helpful these charts are. My boys and I are Hispanic and we're tall, even for American standards. I'm 5'9".

I agree with Mary... These charts are certainly not "set in stone".
My mom is 4'9", my dad is 5'5", I am 5'4", and my brother is 6'4" ! (we are 100% Hispanic) I think height is a combination of genetics and nutrition.. But these charts are always a great source of reference!
