Visiting - Westin or Marriott?
What larger room options do the Westin and Marriott have for a visit trip (2 babies)? There will be 4 adults and 2 infants. We would like a room configuration with at least 2 separate bedrooms, but a living area would be nice, too.
Please share your observations on this! Thanks!

I have heard the Marriott has a two floor suite. I'm not exactly sure how rooms are configured. I also know they have connected rooms with a door in between. Can't comment on the Westin- never been!

We just stayed at the Marriott in what they call a master suite. It was a junior suite with a regular room. So, we had two bedrooms with the living room in between. Worked out great, the only diasapointment was it was in the old tower not the new.

Try the Junior Suite at the Marriott
Hi! We just got back from our visit trip. We had two adults and two children for part of the week and two adults and 4 children for the other part. We stayed at the Marriott. I could not say enough great things about them. They are totally accommodating. What we did is get a Junior Suite. Its not listed on the Marriott Site. You have to email them and ask for it. Its one room with a king bed or two double beds (be very specific what you want) and then another separate room that has a pullout couch. It looks like a regular room that they took the bed out of and made it a sitting room. It has a full bathroom, TV, refrigerator and a desk. This was perfect for us. We also asked to be on the Executive floor which meant you had access to bottled water, pop, breakfast in the AM(continental) and snacks in the evening and desserts in the later evening. Plus, you have Internet access. It was so worth it! Our price also included breakfast downstairs which was tremendous too. We didn't realize we were going to have the breakfast in the Executive lounge. Going again, we'd probably skip including breakfast downstairs and just use the breakfast in the lounge. Now, this is a business executive lounge, so you're nt supposed to take babies and kids in there. But, when there wasn't anyone in it, we did take our kids and they didn't say anything. If you want more info, or the email of the people at the Marriott, just PM me. Also, we had a driver/translator who took us to Antiqua, around GC and to Lake Antitlan. He was fantastic. I'd recommend him to anyone too. Good luck, its a fantastic trip. LSMOM

I also just came back from a visit and stayed at the Marriott. On the 3rd floor they have what is called "The Baby Lounge". It's a two room suite just for families to hang out. There is a microwave, toys, sofas to sit and chat with other families...just about anything you can think of for a great visit. It's also nice to see all the other families and hear their stories. And yes, the Marriott staff is wonderful!
