Got my referral - yeah!!
I simply cannot believe it - I'm in a fog!!! What was supposed to be a 2 month wait for a referral became just a short 3 weeks - and she's just beautiful!! I'm still waiting to talk to the pediatrician before I accept - but my sister is a maternity nurse and said she's perfect. Agency told me the ** must have had good prenatal care because the baby's a great size - 7lb 4oz and 20" long.

I broke down and decided to use Jane Aronson - I've heard great things about her but also heard that she can be pretty abrupt. A good friend of mine used her and really likes her. And since I'm here in NYC, and she is supposed to be one of the best, I decided it was what I needed to do for this little baby girl. So, off the info went to her and we'll see. Once I've accepted, I'll post a photo.

Holy cow - is this really happening?????

Congrats!!!!! I also had a suprise referral. What I thought was going to be a 2-3 month wait turned out to be 2-3 days. How exciting!!! Here's to a speedy process.
