Has anyone went back by themselves to get the Visa?

Without a "guide"? How did it go? what did you do?

Dh is probebly going to have to find his own way there today, and he seems to have it all under control, but i'm just wondering others experiences.

Arrow I Did!

It was so quick and easy. It took almost no time at all. It was quite exciting though to get it. Kristina told me "you can't look at it until you get back!" Of course I had to in order to make sure everything was correct.

There wasn't anything complicated at all. Just as easy as picking up a prescription after it was ready.

Yup, my husband went by himself while JD and I stayed at the hotel. He said everything went so smooth. He just walked in and waited for his name to be called, looked at the visa to make sure everything looked ok and then got back in the taxi...

Good luck...

Yep I did this. I just took a taxi from the hotel(they called it for me). I asked the driver to wait. It was very easy. When I had it in my hands and was walking out of that embassy I just cried...we had waited 19 mths not knowing if this day would ever come many many times. With our first two adoptions my husband went back and got it...but our translator took him that time.

Our driver went and got it both times for us. Unless something has changed, he just needed the receipt to pick it up.

My dh went both times. He just waited until they called our name, turned in the receipt and left. No big deal!

I'll bet you are so anxious to see both of your boys, Erin. Can't wait to see your pictures of Miguel!
