We have a referral !!!!!!
I got the call Tuesday morning of a little girl who will be turning 2 years old on May 6th. We were waiting for a 3 to 5 year old so I wasn't to sure what dh would think about that. Well, after many guestions from him, to me, to the agency and back we have decided to begin with her adoption. We will have to make some changes to our homestudy. Sorry, I can't post pics. We haven't even let the agency know of our decision yet.
Now for the questions. Can someone let me know if this sounds right for a 2 year old. Height - 76cms, weight - 20.11 lbs, head cir. was a little blurry I think it says 44. Dh has a friend who's a doctor but we won't be able to ask him until tomorrow night and I want to call the agency in the morning to let them know what we decided. Thanks everyone,

Congratulation if you accept. How exciting. I don't know much about weight and height but my son is 22 months and he is 28 pds and 33 inches long. I am sure even if she is small for her age once she is home she will excel and be just fine. Best of luck  Christien

CONGRATULATIONS! I don't know about all the measurements, but I would say she is a petite little thing at 20lbs. Good luck with everything!

I am so happy that you finally got a referral. I know some Moms with Guatemalan kids at home can give you some thoughts on her stats, I am not yet blessed. If you google Montiel head circumference you can get a chart on that. Good luck and God bless.

How exciting...
Here's a link to the US growth charts... it seems like Guatemalan babies are usually in the 5-20% range of this chart... so smaller than US babies on average http://www.cdc.gov/growthcharts/

Congratulations! 20 lbs sounds pretty good for an almost 24 month old...my daughter is 33 months and is 30 lbs.
