Vote for the worst BCIS office in the US!!

I vote for Cleveland, OH

2 people on the phones, phones available only 1-4p.m. M-F, and no call queuing. They take absolutely forever to respond to anything. They won't carry brand new fingerprints over from one application to the next, etc., etc., etc.

Oh, gosh, it does sound awful! I'm sorry you are having a bad time with it. Hang in there and try to remember "This, too, shall pass."!!

Yuck, they sound horrible. The thing about fingerprints is totally unfair. Other offices don't have that same policy. I am so sorry. I was very lucky as St. Louis is one of the best. I wish everyone could go through here!

Hang in there,

I third the Cleveland vote. Some of you may have seen my post on it earlier this weekend. Well turns out I sent the check in for $10 over the amount and the entire thing came back to me today. It was marked March 10th!!!!!! AND I AM JUST NOW GETTING IT BACK!? I was overly annoyed. Hopefully from here on out our process goes smoothly with them. I won't hold my breath.

Argh. Philly is bad. Chicago was great -- answered calls, etc. My vote goes to Philadelphia and Marcia with the name you can't pronounce. At one point, I needed to change my I600A. Marcia from the Philly office told me I MUST make an appointment to come down and speak to someone. I took a day off work to make one of those special appointments you make for CIS. I drove an hour to Philly, paid $$ for parking, got to my appointment, and you know what they told me? You have to leave a voice mail for Marcia!

I can't vote for the worst because I live in Iowa which I think seriously has to have THE BEST CIS office in the nation!! Amy there answers her voice mails promptly and emails within hours (usually within minutes!)! She should win an award I swear..she is that good, and man is she NICE! Like last week Friday, I sent her 4 emails which she promptly answered and even sent me links to give me further information. I guess there is one good thing about living out in the boondocks... ... IT'S AMY AT IOWA'S CIS!!!!

Fifth vote for Cleveland! It took three months to get our I171H. They said they never received our HS so we went down there to take a new copy and they informed us they 'found it'. They claimed they never received my fingerprint result - our case had to go back to the head guy for re-preapproval. We involved a Congressman (not helpful) and a Senator (saved us a ton of time). It was a nightmare! A very unorganized office indeed!!

Kansas City for best, or after hearing about Amy in Iowa, a VERY close second!

There were two issues (MY fault!) with mine, and we still got I171h within two weeks!

Every time I have gone all the same staff including security were there, and I actually had sufficient personable contact with them to REMEMBER them all.
