Getting diaper cream out of carpet-anyone??

My 2 1/2 year old got a hold of the diaper cream. Her dolly needed some. Anyway, she got it all over the carpet and naturally it's the waterproof zinc oxide paste kind. Any one have any suggestions on how to get this out of the carpet? Resolve doesn't seem to penetrate this stuff!
Thanks,
Vicki

I would try shaving cream (any brand). Just spray it over the stain and use a damp cloth to work it through and rinse with a clean damp cloth. I don't know if this will work for diaper cream, but it works for kool-aid, tar. red clay mud and vomit! I would give it a try, as it won't hurt anything. Good luck!!!
God Bless,
Nancy

Vicki,
I am looking through my trusty dusty little book..Here are some ideas....
Lestoil (?) apply to rag and dap until stain comes up.
Barbasol Shaving Cream - spay on foam, scrub with a wet scrub brush and rinse with wet cloth and blot dry.
Canada Dry Club Soda - pour a small amount onto the stain and rub gently with a sponge. blot with a paper towl.
Shout - spray on stain and wipe up with a wet rag.
WD-40 - put a small amount on a rag and scrub the spot.

I don't know if any of this will work.. But I would be interested in hearing if they work. Good luck. UGH Sorry...

I'm curious if peanut butter would work, too. It has natural oils in it which may loosen or bind with the diaper cream.

Yikes, I hope something works and I truly hope that dolly's rash has cleared up, too.

Thanks

Thanks for the great suggestions. I'm going to try the shaving cream first and hope that does it. I'm happy to say that the dolly's rash is better especially since she used half a tube of cream! Never a dull moment!

Okay, I admit I have absolutely no idea how to help you out here, but thanks for giving me a well needed chuckle tonight. Sounds like something one of mine would do. While I'm on the phone. Or in the shower. ROFL!

Goof Off

Have you tried "Goof off"? I haven't tried it on this particular thing, but it works for a variety of "oops".

Search "Haley's hints" on the internet. I have one of his books here somewhere and it has great advice on getting almost anything out.

I'll see if I can find it and post if I do.

Good goopy luck.
