OT Where to find clothing for Christening?
We are planning on having Sam Baptised in May and was wondering if anyone knows where we could get something suitable for him to wear? He is probably wearing 18 month size clothes now and will be about the same then too. My DH does not want him in a dress.

We got Dylans from JC Penny's. I loved it! My dh also did not want a dress for Dylan. They are also very resonable.

we bought ours online. we liked the more traditional stuff (often like the stuff in Great Britain) so we did a google search. found some terrific outfits and really cute stuff. Do a google and see what you turn up. And there are some great outfits for boys that aren't a christening gown.
we shopped in stores but didn't find anything that was like we wanted. Nordstroms didn't do it for us, neither did the other dept stores. good luck! Lisa

Outfit
We didn't buy a white outfit. We bought a very cute outfit at JCPenney's. He was the oldest baby being baptized but he was also w/ infant girls. I thought it turned out fine.
I love it (and it was mentioned above) when they turn the moms wedding dress into baptism outfits.

Hey Maria! Joey is being baptized in a few weeks, and I had a tough time finding clothes. Ended up getting an Eton suit online, if you Google 'christening suits baby toddler' you will find some very cool stuff.

Sears, Boscovs, Elder Beerman and JC Penney all had the same boys outfit in our area. Thankfully it was cute.

We got our son's from Strasburg Children. He was baptized last summer and wore a white cotton overall-type set (I think they call them "jon-jons".)
