Homestudy agency license on pick-up trip?

My placement agency says that I need to take an original notarized copy of the homestudy agency license on the pick-up trip. I don't have one, as I gave the only original to my placement agency.

Does anybody know if this is necessary?

Isnt it already part of your packet... I didnt take one...
I again would call and make sure so just in case you dont have to run around last minute.

We didn't need it on either of our pickups. Did they say what you needed it for?

I don't think so....

That is part of the dossier normally. I have done two adoptions from Guat. and it is not part of what is required by the Embassy. One way to check to see if it is a new rqmt. is to go to the Embassy website as there is a list of what is needed.

This was not a part of my dossier and I didn't bring it on pick-up in January of this year. Either the Embassy requirements have changed, or this is an agency-specific requirement.
