we are leaving today

for our visit trip and hubby had a question --- does the Marriott have convertors for our electircal plugs or should I get one? We have stuff like camera, computer etc that will need to charge I am sure well, maybe not ... we won't take A MILLION pictures!!!
Also, what about the water? A friend is a little paranoid and says that we should bring bleach to clean the water.
There are a bout a billion other questions that I have (yup, I'm a little newvous) but I can't formulate them right now .... thanks for the help!
Maura.

I did not stay there...but I know that in my hotel we could plug things right in with no problem. I belive that they are all in the same electrical currency as us in the US. (If you are from Europe you will need to get an adaptor)

You do not need a converter for electrical plugs - they use the same as we do.

I would suggest using bottled water to drink and some even recommend to use it for brushing teeth etc, but I have never had a problem. You can buy bottled water in the gift shop or there is a pharmacy across the street.

Don't worry so much and have a wonderful trip!

their electricity and plugs are the same as the US. No converters needed.

The marriott claims they filter their water very well and went into great detail about how clean it is when asked. That said, I did drink bottled water. I spoke with others who drank the tap water and had no problems.

HAVE fun.

As others said, no converter is needed.

I drank the water and did not have any issues. If you are concerned though, use bottled water. It is readily available at the Marriott or at the local store down the road.

I am not sure how you would "bleach the water" and have it still be safe to drink.

Go and have fun. The Marriott and staff will take excellent care of you. The breakfast buffet is to die for.

Most importantly....enjoy your visit with your little one!

Have a great trip! The marriott was wonderful. I drank the water and had no problems. Their are tons of adopting familes there so if you need anything from advice to wipes, someone will be able to help or point you in the right direction. Be sure to ask for the key to the adoption lounge- there are some toys in there and lots of families to meet, as well as a computer with free internet access.
Can I come in your suitcase?
