Home from Baby Shower but No Baby and No Bump!
We have the most wonderful family and friends and had the most wonderful time at our baby shower, but I sat in Braeden's room today and felt sad. I organized and cleaned and smiled and laughed and cried because at the end of the day, I have no baby with me. He is in my heart. I love him and miss him.

Its tough, but he IS coming home!! woohoo!!
By end of Meeah's adoption, it got to the point where I had to take down all of her pictures because I was so sad... I hope you feel better this week!

Both our Braydens (Braedens) will be home soon!!! I hope you are feeling better. I agree, it is hard to have everything ready. We had our shower very early in the process (before referral), but our family and friends were so excited for us they couldn't wait. I feel good to have everything ready for when he comes home, but it is hard to have everything around the house. Some weeks, I just close the nursery door until I feel better.

I still remember how hard that part was ~ for both our adoptions, looking at an empty crib all ready for occupancy... I would just feel so - restless - weird word to use but that's how I felt... here's hoping that you get to see all those things used real soon...
