This is the 2nd season I'm watching American Idol, and it's the only show I have time to watch so I get a little obsessed.

Who are your favorites so far? My very favorite is Chris Daughtry. I have to admit I like watching Ace 'cause he's easy on the eyes, lol. Taylor is talented, what an offbeat kinda guy. Bucky seems so authentic, I like his personality.

As for the girls, I like Mandisa, Lisa, and Katherine the best.

Anyone wanna compare notes???

I'm with you... love Chris, Taylor & Bucky, for all the same reasons.

I like Mandisa and Katharine for the girls... though I do think Kellie is just likeable and cute (not the best singer... just cute personality)

We have watched every year. Our favorites this year are Taylor and Chris Daughtry. I just don't understand how that Kevin kid is still on, he doesn't sing that good, at least in my opinion. For the girls we like the same ones. I used to like Kelly Pickler, but she's getting on my nerves lately, and although Paris sings really well, her personality rubs me the wrong way. I will agree with you, Ace is really easy on the eyes.

Chris is definately the best for the guys. I think he'll win the whole competition. As for the girls, Mandisa and Katherine are my favorites too. I think Kevin will be the next to go. Can't understand why he's there either....I think people must vote for him just to be funny. They can't be serious.

Chris and Mandisa are my favorites. I just know they'll be making cd's because of AI, and I'll be in line to buy them when they come out.

I think Katherine or Chris will win...but I really like Taylor. He is so unique and different than the typical person on that show.

I have watched almost every season and this past week was the first time I ever really wanted to vote...just because I didn't want to see Taylor go!

My husband and I love Chris. I like him cuz I think he's cute. My husband loves the rocker type. My daughter likes Kelly (my husband does cuz he thinks SHE is cute).

I agree w/ the person who said Paris is annoying. It started out when Randy found out who her grandma was and then when she tried out they wanted to be "blessed" with another song. Give me a break!!! I don't think they would want to be blessed with another song by anyone who was just as talented who had an "average" Grandma waiting for them.

I used to like the Chicken Little guy until last week. Simon didn't like his singing and Chicken little got a bit cocky. Plus, I think he believes he is the sex symbol on the show.

I think Chris will take it. I do like Taylor and Bucky also. I haven't been to impressed with any of the girls so far. Although they sing a lot better than I do.

I like most of the guy singers they sing really good.

Bucky is my absolute favorite because we went to the same daycare! I am older so I remeber him and his twin brother as toddlers- they were even more adorable then than they are now.

I am from NC and am hoping that Kellie gets voted off soon. She completely gives NC a bad name. As the mother of three girls I hate to see women fawned over for being ignorant just because they are attractive. Simon just thinks she is so sweet and cute and every week she just keeps getting more and more stupid. Time to get rid of the "mink".

Chris all the way, w/Taylor and Mandisa as my other faves. I agree, Kellie is starting to get old w/her country girl schtick. Will Kevin be the next to go? Maybe not. Scott was around way too long last year.

I knew someone would bring Kevin up. I heard he's been kept on, thanks to the votefortheworst website??? Ugggh, makes me so mad! I also agree about Kellie, I cannot believe she escaped the bottom 3 last week. As for Paris, she was an early favorite of mine, but not for long. Every song she sings sounds exactly the same...I just can't see her selling albums, but maybe it's just me.

I like Katharine and my hubby likes Taylor. Chris is good but since he doesn't sing the kind of music I usually listen to (I'm old) I have a hard time liking him the best.

Ok, I had totally thought of writing the same thread last week. I am hopelessly pathetically addicted. I vowed I wasn't going to watch it again this year, but what happened? First night- hooked. I have a few comments.

1. GET THE HECK RID OF KEVIN. Brother, he drives me nuts! He can sing ok, but not for American Idol. It drives me nuts that REAL singers are getting the boot, meanwhile he sticks around. Ugh.
2. Paula has GOT to quit flirting with the guys. I have noticed that whenever the guys sing, she is up jamming like crazy, clapping, going nuts. The girls? eh, not so. She also seems to like to show a bit more cleavage for the guys. Yes, I have too much time on my hands to notice all these things.
3. Simon in my opinion, though occasionally too rude and cutting (ie. Mandisa comment about the stage), is almost always correct in his singing assessments.
4. I love Chris Daughtry. He is a fantastic singer and performer
5. Mandisa can "blow"- by that I mean, SHE CAN SING! She sings by far the best of the females and is a beautiful woman.
6. I realize that I need to get back to voting. Why? Because Kevin is still there. Must be my fault.
7. Katherine is also excellent- very sultry looking as well. I enjoy the little girls singing, too. Talented for such youngies.
8. Ace is very easy on the eyes, I agree. Though I am getting used to looking at him, so he's not so much anymore. Chris is also easy on the eyes.

Well, guess that's all for me at the moment! Thanks for starting the thread. My sister and I ALWAYS dish on AI- its so fun!!!

Yes I'm an avid AI fan. I watch every week.
For some reason it does not seem as entertaining this year as in the past. Maybe just boring songs they have been singing or something.
Ace is a cutie but really does not have the voice to back it up.
Kevin just has to go soon!! He just doesn't seem to belong there.
I really like Katherine and her singing.
Really enjoy Mandisa's singing. I think she is one of the best.
Chris is very good also one of the best.
Taylor freaked me out a bit in the beginning but now I think he is fun and I enjoy seeing what he is going to do each week.
