Nathan went to Arizona
This past weekend, we visited my parents who are vacationing in Arizona.
Two days before we left, my mom was admitted to the hospital. Fortunately, it wasn't too serious and she was released on Friday, so we were able to spend much of our time there with her. Nathan loves his grandparents very much and every child should be so lucky to have such loving and attentive grandparents! My mom said that the best medicine she had was her time snuggling and hugging Nathan. It was great to see a smile on her face!! And of course, PopPop spoiled Nathan rotten giving Nathan his every desire! Nathan was allowed to "drive" the RV (it was not on at the time) and drink soda! Who knows what else the two did behind my back - but that is what grandparents are for! My mother is doing better, but the doctor advised them to cut the trip short and come home. Selfishly, I am glad, because I have missed them and missed having them around, but I also know it is better for my mother to be near her regular doctors. We had a wonderful trip, but didn't do much sightseeing as the weather was bad. I was told that it hadn't rained there in 130 days, but it started raining when we arrived. It was cold and windy the entire weekend - much warmer at home in Maryland where it was in the 70s!! Here are a few pictures from our trip.

Oh my goodness Rena, Nathan is such a cutie! I want to eat up that baby belly in the last picture! Glad that your mom is doing better too. DH's parents have been gone for 7 weeks and although we did visit them in FL, I miss having them around here. They come back tomorrow.

Nathan is soooo precious!
I'm the same way about letting Lia's grandparents spoil her. That's exactly what they're for! Can't wait to see Nathan with his little sis.

Thank you all for your kind notes and PMs about my mom. She is doing well and I am happy to say that as of this morning, she is on her way home, so we will see her again next week.
Yes, Nathan is a GREAT traveler!! On this trip, we encountered one delay after another and for our last leg home, we were stuck on the plane for over 6 hours and he was terrific!
