For This Child, FTIA, HAPS & Small Miracles
I may be a bit paranoid, but getting only raving recommendations about an agency makes me a bit weary - surely someone must have had some 'not as good' experiences with these agencies?
I'm NOT looking for rants or bad mouthing - simply details or 'small things' that weren't processed as smoothly as you'd wished for. I guess I'm looking for something that makes the agency more human? (Not that I want them to error...) As much as I'd love to sign up with the 'perfect agency', I've come to accept that life isn't perfect or fair, and I should be prepared for a few set-backs. Doesn't mean I don't want to sign up with an agency that's good at treating set-backs!  Thanks in advance for being so patience with this impatient newbie! Linda

Linda 3/24/06 - sent app & fee to Home Study Agency 3/30/06 - sent app & fee to Placement Agency 3/31/06 - sent in I-600A 4/7/06 - assigned SW and adoption coordinator 4/14/06 - 1st mtg w/SW at my home! 4/22/06 - CIS Fingerprinting 5/15/06 - Final Home Study Visit  ...If my dreams come true, I'll have submitted my Dossier by the end of June, received a referral by end of July, visit in September/October and be home with my baby girl in December!
