*First Family Photo* Pic parade
How about we share the FIRST photos of our families!
They may be from the visit trip or the pick up trip - I just want to see the first photos you took altogether! Here is our First Family Photo of all FOUR of us! This was taken last Thursday - March 3rd - the day we met Celeste. I couldn't find out first photo with Jacob on my computer - but I wanted to share this one tonight! I can't to see how happy everyone looks!!!

Here is our first family picture, and our first family picture where you can actually see the baby. She's all hidden in the first one! She was 6 weeks old in these pictures. Hopefully she will be home soon to get a complete family picture with her 2 brothers!

What a beautiful first family photo you have!!!
Here is our first family photos from our visit trip in late August 2004. Amanda was 18 months old and Dylan was 3 months old. The one of me and them was just before I had to hand them back and I was in tears. Our attorney came and hugged me and said, "I'm gonna get your children home" and he did... 1.5 months later we were back for pickup.

We did not take a single picture of the three of us during our visit trip, so we made sure to do so on our pick up trip. The first picture was taken at the Marriott in January, the day after Gabriella was placed in our arms forever. The second one was taken at home in February right before our post placement visit. I can't believe how much Gabriella had changed in those 6 weeks. My baby is growing up too fast!!!

We dont have any pictures of all three of us from our first meeting because either my husband or I had the camera. But here are family shots from when we were coming home from fostering in Antigua when Juniper was 3 1/2 months - and from a family shot when she was 9 months in January!

Here's ours
This is from a week ago yesterday on our pickup trip for my daughter Mia. We are on a peak called (appropriately because it is freezing) Alaska overlooking Lake Atitlan. It was much warmer down in Panajachel, but the view from this point was awesome. It was kind of cloudy, but still inspiring. I would contend that you haven't seen Guatemala until you've seen Lake Atitlan. I've been a total of 8 times to Guate. I've also traveled to more than 40 countries around the world. I've seen a lot within Guate, but this absolutely blew me away. It was a great place to spend our first day as a family!
