undescended testicle---surgery
Hey all,
Just wanted to let you know that Elijah will be having surgery due to the undescended testicle. They will also do the circumscision at the same time. He is now 18 months old and it still hasn't come down and I don't want to wait any longer since he will understand more if we do. We went to a different dr today than we had went to before and we really like him. He is a urologist and he is really good. Infact he had seen my husband years ago when we were going through the infertility route. I will let you all know once they schedule it. We asked him how long he would be sore and he said probably 1 day. He told my husband if it was him or my dh that they would be laid up for 3 weeks. I thought that was really funny and SO TRUE!!!! No offense to the guys on here. keep us in your prayers...thanks amy

Good Luck with the surgery. I know what you are going through. My son has had 2 surgeries since being home ( for different procedures than you son is having). I will keep your son and family in my thoughts.

I hope it all goes very smootly. It is currently on my To Do list to call for a consult with a surgeon for this same thing for my son (13mos). I may PM you at some point later for some more details.
