Question so happy for you all, but....where is our OUT!!!?

Having a bit of a bad day today. We've been in PGN for...oh...80 days or so and I just don't get it??????!!!
I try and stay positive, but it's difficult. Why do so many fly through, including many many in our own agency? We just want our little guy home, and we miss him so much. Spring is coming and what a blessing it would be to share that with him.

Although it seems as if there is no rhythm to the process when you look at others around you - perhaps you would take comfort in knowing that there IS a time and purpose for everything. I wish you strength and hope, always.

Hope you get the good news soon. It's really hard when you know it could happen "any day now" and then you wait and wait and wait. I was almost numb by the time we got the phone call that we were out.

It really is hard to see so many others flying through, but your day WILL come and you will be holding your little guy in your arms forever. You won't forget this difficult wait, but it won't hurt as bad, I promise.

(((HUGS)))

I hope tomorrow is a better day for you.

jenna this process is nuts. i do not believe there is a rhyme or reason for these delays.
anyway, after 80 days in pgn, i sure hope you are the next one out.

While I haven't been waiting as long as you I think this is the worst wait in the process. Like Anne said when it could be any day it makes it hard. Just think soon there will be a time when your son is home and you won't be chained to your phone and computer waiting for that important call!!

It will be soon so just hang in there!

I'm having a slightly bad day, too

Or maybe I should just say I'm in a "funk."

I have a forum friend who's with the same agency as I am but a different office, so she has a different lawyer, SW, program director, etc. We've been corresponding fairly regularly off-board, and I'm very happy to learn that she just got out of PGN -- in less than a month, which is fantastic! Her little girl is very young (not quite 4 months, I think), so they are very lucky. I hope the fact that they need a GCBC doesn't add any unnecessary time.

But I'm a little sad for me. Her timeline and mine were very similar up to this point and I couldn't help but compare, especially since we're using the same agency. I don't want for one second to take anything away from her (or anyone else), but part of me just wants to stomp my feet and throw an "it's not fair!!" tantrum!

Yep, I'm jealous because she got in and out of PGN already and I'm not even in yet! I just got off the phone with my agency; there's no news about my case...the last thing they heard (which was on 2/14) was that they were waiting on the SW report so we can get out of FC.

Grrrrrr....Diana, if you read this, I really am happy for you...just a little bummed for myself and throwing a small pity party!

Jenna! So sorry to hear you're bummed! I hope you'll be out TOMORROW! Have you talked to your agency and have they spoken to your lawyer? Just curious what they have to say! I mean can't the lawyer check with PGN to see what the hold up is?

Bethany! I was surprised to see you post your message.....I'M ALWAYS LOOKING AT YOUR TIMELINE AND WISHING IT WERE MINE! I think we all go through this and it's just insanity that someone else gets DNA testing done the same day we do and they have preapproval and 6 weeks later...we're still waiting for it! It's bizarre! I think we all need to remember how lucky we are that we're getting the opportunity to go through this process at all and how fortunate we are that we'll be bringing babies home soon!

Take care everyone! Hope everyone gets good news soon!

I'm so sorry you're stuck!!! Our little guy is about the same age as your baby. While we haven't been stuck long in PGN we were stuck for what seemed like forever in FC. I truly hope you are the next OUT and you know...there's no reason why you can't be!

I don't think it's unusal to feel the way you are. It's not that you're not happy for the others you just want "a piece" of what they got.

I hope you have very good news soon!!!!

Jenna, I often wonder the same thing.. how comes other families are out in no time. What is so different w/ our cases that requires us to linger in this abyss- I just don't understand it- You just HAVE to be out soon-
