Madison8-we are now in the 19th month of our adoption. We recieved a referral for a two week old baby girl last February. This week she turned one…We are waiting to go back into PGN after another typo in a document...Please pray for patience and that she will come home soon.

linda512- a good friend of my family is dying of lung cancer. She is in hospice and not expected to last much longer. She has been so supportive of the adoption, so excited for me and really wanted to meet Benji.

Emmasmom- - I found a cyst on my right ovary. However, at this time the doctor isn't worried about the cyst. There was another problem she found, so I will be having another procedure done. Please continue to pray for my health and for strength.

little_rich1991-. . we entered FC on jan 30 –social worker interview was yewsterday. Please pray everything went well. And please pray we get DNA auth soon

Carolyn(wvamom)- our son, Wes, had surgery in January to put a screw in his right femur to fasten the growth plate on, when it had slipped off the top of the femur. Yesterday the dr. said that he might have to go in again and back out the screw 1/4 turn, that it looks pretty close to the joint. We should find out in 4 weeks, when we go back to the dr.. Could you ask people to pray that we would get a good report when we go back and that Wes wouldn't need more surgery?

mildredjohn-my cousin is pregnant(7 mos) and she had a special ultrasound that showed just one part of the heart of the baby. The results of this could be that after it is born, the baby could live just days.Another situation: For my friend who's adopting from Guatemala and her attorney and all her cases are under investigation by the Child Court in Guatemala. She doesn't know how long this could take and when she can bring home her baby. She's devastated by this news. Please pray for her for comfort and patience. For a miracle that her case is release as soon as possible.

Shay- -Daria is going to have eye surgery on her eye muscle this summer.please pray for healing and strength for mama!

Lisa (Carney10) - I ask for your prayers for a quick PINK slip! My FIL, not so good news still. We found out he definitely has Colon cancer, but they think they can remove it w/o radiation or chemo. Surgery is the 8th of March. BUT now today we got a call they he has to go back on Friday, the catscan has showed something else in the groin area and the lung. No more details than that. We will know more maybe on Fri.

Mountainmama- Winnie had the ct and the dr called and said that he does have "lesions" on the lungs that they think could be something, however they are so small they can't do anything with them yet. They are 6 mm and they can't do anything with them until they get to 1 cm. He said they have grown a little since July, but they may or may not grow more until then it is a waiting game. Please keep us in your prayers. I am not a good waiter, but with your prayers and my church families prayers we will make it through

tmlewis- -Our senator's office has asked for an update on our case with immigration. We just have waited long enough and this office has been GREAT!So.within a week we might hear an update! hope it is that our case will be decided soon. We just really want to have the wait over with..it has been 16 long months of just immigration. Then if we get approval. then I see things like PGN investigation..delays with preapprovals, dna, and other things and just think that maybe we aren't meant to adopt. So discouraged.

ThenTheyDo- Everyone please put in a good word for the GC Civil Registry to go on a BC extravaganza! For a smooth pickup trip, and for heath...I'm in a wheelchair now and it's harder to travel and take care of my precious bebe.. Its hard to find the strength and the patience to have to ask for help all the time.. I pray that I am healed soon, that the next surgery goes well, and that I can walk again soon.

Shellydm- - We are waiting this week to hear if our birthmother has signed the final decree. We exited PGN on 2/22. She had second thoughts while we were in family court, so we are afraid right now.


Vickibunny-having back surgery and waiting for DNA authorization

Packgirl-My father is battling Multiple Mylaloma. He just got out of a 2 weeks stint in the hospital. One week in ICU and one week in a regular room. He has had 3 doses of Chemo but the "cancer" is in his heart. He is not doing well.
Added to this... our son who we are waiting on had to have emergency surgery . He turned 5 months old and we are in family court since Oct. -! It is a huge relief that we might be out of fc sometime soon!

AlyD- headed to GC and I'm not coming home without my little man. No, I don't have pink yet - so this way I'll be there to finish whatever needs finishing. PLEASE send an extra prayer or two and some good vibes my way this week,

Baybeeboy- We accepted referral of our son less than two weeks after he was born and 8 months later, still do not have him home. In fact, after 7 weeks in PGN, we have been kicked out because of a missing signature on the birth mother's ID, which could take up to two weeks to correct. Then it's back into PGN. Please give us the strength to endure more waiting with faith that it will end soon with our son in our arms.

Cheri25- My uncle, my dad's brother passed away unexpectedly, they believe of a heart attack. … my uncle's (the one who died) daughter, Jennifer, (my cousin) passed out in the church. She then went into cardiac arrest … Jennifer died.. My cousin also had a husband and three children (15,12, and 4yrs) that she leaves behind.Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

Fullahope- Praying for PA so we can go back into PGN.

captainzip90-. We got the papers we needed from the uncle so that is a praise. It will be a long process but we are hanging in with this child.

Mindy41065- My dad has stage 4 colon cancer and has been going through chemo. I pray that the chemo works and the cancer can stay stable so my daughter can get to know him. I pray that he can stay strong and not give up and fight this terrible disease. Thanks.

Candkss-My 12 year old cousin just had a 15 lbd tumer removed from her overy. They had to take the overy also. They think it may be cancer. Her name is Sarah. Also for my husbands business. We are waiting on our marriage lic. from Las Vegas to send in our I600A. We have been waiting for 3 months!!!

Isaiahsmommy-We have been out of PGN since 1/11/06 and still do not have our BC. We are waiting for it from the town of Mixco. Apparently, there is a new person in charge at this civil registry that is against adoptions. We waited 3 1/2 weeks just to find out we had been kicked out for an error on our PGN decree. She is now asking for the birthmother to sign off again and then to have PGN issue another decree based on the name that is stated on the final sign off document. I am just so frustrated and depressed at this point. I have 2 precious kids at home but I am so stressed about this that I can't even focus on them like I should. Please pray that this situation is resolved quickly and I can finally go pick-up our little boy. He will be turning 2 on 3/29/06 and I just want him here to celebrate it.

tj's momma-My son, who has been home for 8 months-he will be 3 in may, has to have dental surgery to save his molars. The pediatric dentist said the bmom suffered some kind of infection during her pregnancy to cause this condition. I'm not sure how to explain what's wrong- but, his teeth will be detetiorated without the surgery. He needs these teeth until about 12 years old.
I am so worried- he has to be put to sleep..Can you please say a prayer for my son

wannabamom-that please, please DH get a new project soon and which will go on a t least for another 2 more years in the same city at least because we're almost done with the Home Study, Home Visit is left and then I'm so looking forward to becoming a MOM from Guatemala.

mleonard0128- -A good friend of mine was killed in a drug bust. He was a police officer and in the struggle to get the guys gun under control (which my friend wasn't involved in he was in the back) the gun went off and shot him in the neck. VERY SAD right now and just knowing that he lived long enough to know that he was dying just breaks my heart! this is a shock to our community since we are a small community and things like this just don't happen. Prayers to go out to his family and ALL THE many friends he has!

apetry26- today is the day that our atty is SUPPOSE to get our DNA authorization after trying for almost 7 months... Today is also the day of our birthmom interview. I know this is a small step- but we've been waiting a VERY long time for this to happen. Of course, this is all assuming that it will go off w/o a hitch... I'm trying not to get my hopes up as we have been nothing but dissapointed through this whole process- but our luck HAS to change sometime- Hopefully it will be today- Wish us luck that all goes well for us today
