Kelly you always crack me up with your humor. I guess not everyone sees it that way, to bad for them. My housekeeper is away for three months and I am going absolutely crazy!!!!! I tried calling an agency for temp help and no one is available. This house is way to much, 13 rooms and 3 bathrooms UGH!!!!! Big houses are nice until you have to clean them yourself. Maybe I need to get myself one of them (the vaccume cleaner I mean)

Okay, I have been totally curious about the Scoomba. How does it work in the bathroom? Can it get around the toilet? Does it do a decent job in small bathrooms?
Thanks for quelling my burning curiousity!
Katie

The only attempt I made at using it in the bathroom is leaving our guest bathroom door open and letting it go in there. I did not clear out the items around toilet because it is too wide to go behind the toilet. It did go on the sides of the toilet fine though.

Overall it is doing a great job. I have linoleum floors in our large kitchen and large foyer so they are shining today with little to no effort from me.

Mary, my house is not as large as yours but large enough that the up keep is too much work. My mom told me not to buy this house for that reason but we bought it anyway and boy oh boy is she right!!!

victoria, that is funny what your mother said, because my mother said the same thing. Not to mention everyone else in my family pretty much!!!! My housekeepers (there are two of them) come twice a week, one day they do the upstairs the next day they do the downstairs. Needless to say my house hasn't sparkled since they left

Mary, I wish I could justify having a housekeeper but can't. I found it easier to keep the house up before the little ones came, now one toddler and a preschooler which makes it difficult to keep the house organized, etc. The scooba will take one of the duties away from me which I love.

I ordered the Romba yesterday lol

I bought Roomba two years ago- the following Christmas there was a Roomba under the tree for my mother and my sister....It goes places that a vacuum cant - like under my mother's king size bed which hasnt been moved in YEARS!!! It took three 'runs' of Roomba before that little robot-vacuum came out from under the bed without any dust.... the cats are fascinated by it.......

Kesti-- I was wondering if you are still happy with your Scooba? Have you had any problems yet?

Thanks for the update

Hi gang,

I am still in love with the Scooba! It works great, not exactly like the video shows but still great. The diff. is when you watch the video it doesn't show water on the floor but it does leave water on the floor but it goes back and dries it up.

I got lucky and got a used Romba on the infamous auction website for less than half the cost. The woman who sold it said that she has long haired dogs and it does not work well for her but I think it will work well for me.
